  1. Got the kit today. Does anyone know if maybe HF got the permission to release this kit or maybe got the masters. I have test fit a few parts and the fit is great also the parts are impossibly clean for a recast. No airbubbles and the resin does not smell. All the pour stubs are in easy ot access and easy to clean places. Detail is crisp too. I am also toying with the idea of polishing the canopy, my copy isnt too foggy. A polish and a thin coat of tamiya clear green would give it a nice look.
  2. Too bad Trumpeter couldnt get in on the Mecha scene. Imagine PG grade Mecha kits with all the options Trumpeter likes to throw into their large scale kits. MMMMM detail goodness. Now if trumpeter would just make a 1/35 scale Tunguska A/A vehicle i would be happy too.
  3. Great now hasegawa is going to have to rebox the Viking and add a sprue of parts and decals just to charge us 50 dollars for a limited run of a 15 dollar kit.
  4. THATS 1/2500!! It looks like it is the larger kit the way you painted it.
  5. Nice ambassador. Was that the clear cast yamaguchi or was it the Ent C kit? I also like your AI drone, what did you use to make it?
  6. In EP3 of macross zero Roy is refueling and rearming his acft in the air. he was refueling from an S3 Viking tanker which also had a gunpod mounted under the wing for in air rearming.
  7. There were alot of preorders. It took over a year for me to get my notification.
  8. Please be the macross please be the macross
  9. Overall mike would you say this kit was a Hit? Did it sell better than you were expecting? Dont need numbers just your idea.
  10. OOOHHH I so want this http://www.modelfplus.com/specialindex_log...ers2005_96.html
  11. The stripes were all done freehand. I set my compressor down to around 10-15 % and used the fine needle and tip in my airbrush. The color is Polly S German panzer dark brown. Thin the paint with a little alcohol. Using very slow draws on the airbrush just lightly trace out the stripe on the model, once a good border is established fill it in.
  12. this was 100% off the top of the head. I had a box of parts and bits and just put toether something that made sense.
  13. If you liked that your gonna LOVE this This is the last youll see of it though since the end result and base are for a contest thats coming up You guys can thank Kylwell for the idea for the camo. He said tiger stripes like the old WW2 german tanks so i took it literally and made the stripes on this stylized like the stripes on a real tiger cat.
  14. Well i did a little more work on it Tonight im going to make a couple of stencils to do a field applied tiger stripe pattern. This is actually my first non kit hover tank.
  15. I think more skirt armor would clutter the look. I still hae yet to base paint, weather it and add all the crew bags.
  16. OOO i can finish off Heat Guy J. Thats actually a suprisingly good series. Has an interesting soundtrack too.
  17. You could always upgrade to the aluminum head lasers.
  18. Looks like a recast. I thought the IHP one had dark grey/black resin parts as well as the white ones.
  19. He just took down the Hobby hanatics boards. They had the same IPB that MW has now. Please keep an eye out.
  20. Taking a break from the tripod and resin in general. I threw together this hovertank today. See if you can name the pieces and parts. Its a kitbash from a multitude of different kits.
  21. Bravo! Excellent work. I wanted to get one but something about it never really caught with me. You brought it to life though.
  22. Im suprised that noone noticed what the Angel Birds color scheme is supposed to look like when in Battroid...School Girls Uniform. Yuo the little sailor outfit. See there is method to SKs madness.
  23. Where on the model did ypu place the pin holes? They look like regular details in the pics so its impossible to tell. Also does pin friction alone hold on the arm armor on?
  24. It wont spray blood but i found a use for that fake holloween webbing. Just dye it red and string it over parts of the base. I will also simulate vapor coming out of some of the 6 vents on the underside. I do want to make a sound chip and button for the base and house it in a box with some decent speakers. Thats for later though.
  25. I wish i were able to link to the noise the tripod makes in the movie for this.Either the loud call or the mechanical clanking it makes. Basic construction and preshading is done. I will be putting the initial color down tomorrow and adding the spines on the back of the head.
