  1. Lessee....Artificially fake special effects, balsa wood acting, boringly shot, need I go on? Samuel and Ewan were the only saving graces of the picture.
  2. I've always wanted a nice sized Prime of my own. The 1/48s can wait. The head sculpt is gorgeous, and it's the most articulated Prime since RID Fire Prime. I can't deny its goodness.
  3. Empire Strikes Back was my Favorite while AOTC was my least favorite. TPM is slightly better becuase of Qui-Gonn, Darth Maul, and the Podracing scenes.
  4. Pretty true JRock. Um...That wasn't me. (I WISH I'd wrote it though...)
  5. Is it possible to still look at the entries and the winners?
  6. If I've seen this post first, I wouldn't have posted my say on it
  7. Would that be Keanu Reeves?? Mark Walberg?? Paul Walker?? Lemme know if I'm gettin warm! I understand if yall hate the actors (Can't stand Angelina Jolie, Myself) but to hate a fictional period movie of its inaccuracies is pretty moot in this MacrossWorld board. Especially one that's not claiming to be the most accurate portrayal of Medieval Japan ever caught on film. I'll watch it on DVD. So no one will bother me with their pitiful critiques (Like when I watched Kill Bill).
  8. To those who's about to see this series. Make sure your teeth got a clean bill of health from your Dentist. It's THAT sweet.
  9. I'm SO there on opening day!! Gordon has that just stepped out of the Shaw Bros studio look in him (Which is sorta true, since they filmed some of in in the Shaw Bros studio!
  10. One question. Would any of you guys consider Demolition Man a bad Sci Fi movie? Judge Dredd gets my vote.
  11. About $10-$20 extra on top of basic rates. With most cable companies, you can subscribe to the lowest priced digital setup and still take advantage of the On Demand services. I suggest you talk to your local cable company
  12. You are correct, sir! I've been watching it since this past spring, and I like it so far. I can't believe how much money I'm saving thanx to that channel.
  13. Truthfully, the response is half and half. I own BT Smokescreen, and I transformed him once. the paint is chipping on the bottom part of the cat that makes up Smokey's abs. And it's very noticable, as a few friends of mine noticed it last night. I admit, some people do exaggerate, but the paint chips are indeed noticable. Which means I might buy Alternators for the rest of the line if I'm gonna be sweating bullets while carefully transforming.
  14. Hey!! Is this the X-Men cartoon that had Wolverine wearing the Burgundy and orange suit and sounding like Juggernaut?? If it is, I remember when it was on the Marvel Afternoon in the late 80's (It aired right after the animated RoboCop series, believe it or not)
  15. If it wasn't for Adult Swim, I wouldn't act quick to get the Cowboy Bebop Perfect sessions at FYE and instead I would have been payin through the nose to get it.
  16. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, "Bland" food and all (I dunno what the heck Roy's talking about. At our home, we solve blandness with Hot Sauce ) I spent mine laughin my butt off with family and friends. And that's how Thanksgiving should be, IMO) Funniest part about last night is when a friend joked about me sayin if my girl curse my love of Macross, I might hurt her feelings. Heheh. I can't confirm nor deny the validity of his statement........
  17. They were better off adding Licensed by Royalty (L/R) than Stand Alone Complex. If ever there was an Anime series better tooled for American TV, This is the show.
  18. Nope...Looney Tunes is considered one of the most violent cartoons of all time. Yep. Take the time to sit down and watch 10 minutes of Looney Tunes next saturday. The cartoons that they still show, and there's a lot that have just disappeared from TV altogether, are positively neutered. Thank god for DVD. Nope. Thank God for bootleg $3.99 VHS tapes. The DVDs are from Warner. The $4.00 Looney Tunes tapes released by the independant distributors and are as they first appeared on TV (Complete with the ol skool aap logos.) They are the closest to original you can get (Even though you still can't get the Bugs Bunny WWII themed shows).
  19. I voted for Voltron just so they could do a Battle of the Planets and release the GoLion episodes as well. StarBlazers has been on DVD for a while. Official Star Blazers site GI Joe first season is coming soon
  20. First of all. I don't understand why people wanted Hound to be a Hummer. Hound's a Jeep brand. Get over it. Second of all, I love the new Hound. The engineers did a hell of job in designing it. I'm a Jeepaholic so this has my name all over it. As for the small weps. All of the Alternators line have to follow a set of rules that were established in the Armada line. 1) Articulation 2) All weapons and body parts must either be hidden in, or incorporated into, the alt mode (which is why they are small in Alternators.) Blame Hasbro for that (Which should be easy for the majority of yall <_< ), but for me, it means no more missing parts. And I commend Hasbro for bringing the pics onlinequickly before they showed up through illegal mesures. I'm definately gettin this (Takara version, of course )
  21. To me, Seinfeld isn't funny. This is my opinion and it contains no intentions of ill will towards anybody.
  22. Wait, wait, wait.... Kill Bill has: Detaching Limbs, Flying Bodies and a demure Japanese schoolgirl who transforms into a psycho killing machine! :-) But, but... transforming JETS! Cute, Demented Japanese schoolgirl with 500 lb iron spiked ball and chain or Cute demented female alien ace pilot? Choices....
  23. Basically, Peter hires a Jewish accountant to balance his family's checkbook after hearing such praise from his friends. He sings a show tune praying to God to find him a Jew, and hilarity ensues. And didn't a few of the earlier episodes got cut out of the DVD boxes? Personally, I'm waiting for the PJ's. But that's just me.
  24. ?????? First off, Compairing Kill Bill to Macross is like comparing Led Zepplin to The Talking Heads. Two different things. Second off. For no apparant reason, you've harshly insulted my albino brother. That's not right, and the next time you post here, please make sure the chemicals have worn off in your body. Thanx.
