I just opened the hi metal r Hikaru 1J. Looks like QC issues rearing their ugly heads. My tail fins won't deploy flush like the CF does - i can see a gap between the base of the fin and the backpack on both, and some gaps on top of the fighter mode where the chest and backplate come together that are more prounounced than on the CF. I like the canopy, though i do wish a clear one was packed in as well

I hate all of yamato/arcadia's boxart. Just throw some Tenjin art on the box and call it a day. Much better than the abominations like the arcadia focker box

milia is a bandai web exclusive, only certain stores are doing it. I don't know if mykombini is one of them. I know Nippon-Yasan is, though.

I wish i could bring myself to just destroy all toy packaging I cannot stand how much room they take up.

snagged another Max from HLJ. I have a mykombini preordered, but I think i will be able to dump it on ebay for what i paid for it with shipping and recoup my money. HLJ is way cheaper.

Btw, once you received yours let us know if the head lasers are bended too.

Just got my yf-29b this morning. Head lasers are fairly straight. there is a slight bend in one but nothing bad. Wow, this thing is awesome. It feels so good, so solid, so much nicer than the Arcadia valkyries.

Those headlasers look mostly blue, with some black trim? A reverse wash will fix that right up on the shapeways ones. Hopefully the packaged lasers aren't too bad to remove

kurisama's shapeways store has some solid replacement head lasers.

So I'm debating whether to get this or not. I like the color of this YF-29 but I just don't know if it's worth getting if I already have the YF-29 Focker and Yf-29 Ozma figures.

Anyone have suggestions to help me with my dilemma? >.<

that GFFMC Unicorn, after shipping, is about the same price as amazon. no reason to buy it from N-Y.
