WOW!!! they are both gorgeous figures! really looking forward to receiving mine! Many of the other Macross figures I have also have the "fan service" factor about them but its done quite tastefully and not ever unnecessarily revealing. Makes them very display friendly and won't get you weird looks from people who visit your house! Great photos! thanks for posting them!

I have to agree with you there Gakken.. the proportions of the 48's are odd in places but they do look fantastic in fighter mode! The longer nose really works for it in that mode. Some people argue that the 1/60 are too humanoid looking and that the head sits up to high but I rather like that and I firmly believe it adds to the Valkyrie's charm as a variable platform. Besides wasn't it was meant to look somewhat humanoid in order to be of similar dimensions and to combat the Zentradi!? The 1/48's are great toys no doubt and have a few of their own quirks such as the deploy-able speed brake, removable nose cone with radome, moving flaps and of course their sheer size!

ok so I swapped the Brownie with the Rainbow-J so I now have a whole shelf dedicated to J-Spec Valks! Hows it look now!?

Yeah I know they were a little on the expensive side but I had some left over money in my collectibles budget account before the next round of savings begins and I have eyeballed these two girls for a while now.. I know they will most likely show up on Mandarake eventually but I'd rather pay a bit more to get and enjoy them sooner! Several anime figures I too have over paid on but then others I have got at pretty good deals which kinda balances it all out.. roughly.. kinda sorta.. And yes Noel you are right its definitely nice to get a decent far less provocative Sheryl for a change as most of her stuff has been either a bit tacky or far too sexually revealing. As a result I only have two Sheryl figures.. in my collection Ranka out numbers her 4 to 1!

Rub it in David.. rub it in! hehe! but thanks mate! Im very happy indeed! and looking at the one I have now I can't figure out why I would have let it go in the first place!? Its so friggin awesome! So yep the same mistake made by both of us.. I'll never make that mistake again!

Set up the YF-30 which had originally been bought for my son for his birthday which we ended making a deal in favor of him getting an Xbox One instead.. I was more than happy to take an extra 30! Its nice having one in each mode now! And not to mention a lovely Iscandarian by the name of Yurisha arrived today too! running out of display space..

thought I'd post this in the correct section this time.. Just ordered these two lovely little ladies through NY! sweeeeeeeet!!! -
I know they are super expensive but for me they were worth every dollar! There are certain VF-1 that I would like doubles of to keep packed away, these included but the cost of doing so is rather prohibitive of course.. Thanks Mick! Oh David please.. im sure you have some pretty wonderful things of your own too! Thanks mate! Definitely a must for any serious collector! Thanks! Yeah it was starting to fry my brain a little waiting for them.. I bought them through the Japan Auction sites and all three from the same seller, all three auctions finished within minutes of each other and I paid for them all at the same time yet the seller sent them all separately and it took two weeks for them all to arrive.. The Super Ostrich arrived last and I was starting to get a little worried that it might never get to the forwarder! But thankfully they all did! Glad to hear that all of your items arrived to you safe & sound too! Thanks McFly! Well I certainly hope so! but im thinking my VF-1 collection has now hit a wall.. There isn't really anything else I need to get.. but there are others still coming for my Frontier collection and not to mention the VF-0A & S.. I'll still be tracking down the other two SV-51 types (Ivanov & CF) and I have a VF-1J custom which is being built which im also looking forward too seeing!

yeah most AA are more expensive but not necessarily always better sadly. I was quite disappointed by their Signature Series Aventador.. -
yeah i was kinda panicking about the shoulders for a bit there but was prepared to accept it however it came.. there was no mention of their condition in the auction listing but thankfully they are both perfectly ok! Not even the faintest sign of stress or anything! Such a relief! I need more stands too! Haha! But not sure if Carlos has anything other than 4" available yet.. might go check. :/

OK!! so.. my M&M's and Super Ostrich finally arrived today! And they have all exceeded my expectations! They are all mint & sealed in their original boxes never touched by a human hand (after leaving the factory of course..) The Super Ostrich was a little bit of a worry for me seeing how so many have had cracked and or broken shoulders but this example is perfect! I checked over it and everything is 100%! Its a fantastic feeling to have one again after I so foolishly gave my first SO away and regretted it ever since! And after seeing how expensive & rare they became in the time afterwards I was so angry with myself.. But I have now learnt my lesson and sure as hell won't be making that mistake ever again! And now finally having the Max & Milia's VF-1J pair is like a dream come true for me! I've been after these little buggers for quite some time now and the relief of that weight being lifted of my shoulders is immense! And especially considering the pair I got are pretty much brand spanking new and never been previously opened, handled or displayed! Makes it all the more sweet! I know some of you may think im maybe over reacting a little but the truth is im just racing with emotions right now! Just glancing over at them sitting proudly on display as I type this up I still can't believe they are actually sitting there! I swear the tears are about to break out! Im surprised that its all effecting me this way! Max & Milia are everything I hoped for and more! They are just gorgeous! I think its gonna be a late night tonight! Lots of gazing and admiring! So now my VF-1 collection is finally complete! I don't think there is really anything that im wanting or missing.. Maybe a few more doubles would be nice and the incoming GBP sets will still be welcome as it gives me a few more display options.. Its taken a long while and a lot of money but we're there now!

hmmm... I did say previously that I'd probably be happy to pick up all of these but seeing that now my 1:60 VF-1 collection is pretty much complete and im quite content with what I have I am probably going to give this line a miss.. Maybe.. just maybe I might pickup the Monster even though its in 1:100 scale its still gonna be a fairly good size but I don't particularly care for a Regult in an out of scale size compared with what I have collected so far. And to be honest I can't see the Hi-Metal R VF-1 lot being any better than the original Hi-Metal series.. Especially not if people are expecting them to be a budget or cheaper line to collect so you can forget about integrated landing gear, hands and what ever else they don't have compared to a 1:60. I'll be extremely surprised if any of those features make it in the final production versions..

That is one fine looking model car Derex! Especially in the yellow! And for a Hotwheels too! I had a few Hotwheels 1:18 scale cars in the past but never thought they were quite up to the build and detail standard as AutoArt for example but this one looks pretty bloody good! I have been eyeballing a few other model cars lately and I might just have to add one of these to the list! And although the yellow does work I think for me it'd have to be red.. errr more like.. thankfully it doesn't! hehe! Very nice pickups Noel!
