  1. Any suggestions what could replace this head?
  2. The stupid head sticking out...
  3. I Just got the Energon Megatron on Wal-Mart. A toy with a lot of potential ruined by laziness, bad design and corporation stupidity. The fighter mode on the box didn’t look that terrible... I don't like the transparent "uranium-green" parts but I could learn how to live with it... The fighter proportions are not that terrible (considering the other transformers out there) and it even got a x-wing kind of look... I though I could paint the nasty green parts and have an almost decent transforming fighter on the shelve... dare to dream... The head doesn't collapse anywhere inside the toy. Yes, you have a big fricking one-inch pointed head under the jet. Sometimes I wonder if they are doing this on purpose, because there is now way a designer would leave that stupid head looking at you under the plane. And you clearly see it was a matter of laziness, because I can think of at least 5 ways to improve the head in some way. Whoever designed Megatron's head should be shot in the head. Twice. Robot mode looks a lot like the original Galvatron, and I would like to see a repaint with the purple Galvatron colors. But it could use some Atkins action. Fat-a-tron is a chubby toy. I wish the angle wings would collapse, this would make much slicker toy, and the angle is right there ready to fold. Again, bad design combined with laziness. Megs comes with a tank who doesn't transform, what is kind of odd because the tank is fairly big. It was supposed to light up but mine never did... is connects on the top of the fighter as a big cannon, and can attach on the arm on robot mode... is also comes with a clear piece of pointed plastic that becomes a "sword" (...) I give megs a 5 out of 10. The stupid head really killed the toy for me. I can remove the read with a single screw... I will do my best to put anything else in there... maybe something made out of legos or something... I keep you guys updated on this Now the pics:
  4. It is pretty much based on Seeds of Destruction, but they add elements from the right hand of doom and some major modifications on the storyline. Hey, it is just me or Kroenen moves and looks reminds a lot Soul Calibur's Voldo?
  5. Hey, I just came from the movies and I had a hell of a time with Hellboy! Funny and well action packed. I hope it does well cause I'm really looking for a sequel. I didn't like Rasputin that much... he is much darker an poweful on Seeds of Destruction. But the translation to the screen when really well. Abe stole all his scenes. I don't kind of go with Selma Blair,,, she looks constipated all the time, and she really could use some sun. Her office white skin is almost the same color as Abe Overall a pretty good fun for a Friday night... GF liked it too. Anybody read comics around here?
  6. Unfortunately this Yammie Koenig doesn't seem to be more than a rumor. Another case of the "I know a guy who has seen this" and we know well where this ends… We are trying to hang on hope here, but by this time we would have a picture, or at least another witness who was at the show. There's no gun here, just the smoke.
  7. awesome dude, what kind of brush are you using? Can you give a brief description of your steps? I've colored drawings with photoshop before but I never got even close to that level of quality... how about a little tutorial or "making of" for the fans?
  8. At least now there's some hope for me. I was *VERY* tempted to get on the list for the IHP recast the guys from the model board are working on, but I have no experience whatsoever with model kits. The odds of me screwing everything up are just way too high. Cleaning, sanding, painting, assembling... Meh. I really think you model guys are gods sometimes, but if I'm paying $250 for a toy, It has to come ready out of the box for me to play with.
  9. So far, those are the only two existing transformable Koenig Monster, none of them avaliable to the public, right?
  10. And they are right! I wouldn't let my child touch that thing with a ten foot pole. The reason most of us are here is that we had suck great memories of good toys in our childhood. I probably would hate toys if someone got me that thing when I was 10 I ought give him a valk or something. Now THAT’S education.
  11. The very principle of transforming toys is having a vehicle, or an animal, or something fairly common transforming into a robot or another fairly recognizable form... Can someone tell me WTF is that supposed to be? Disfigured plastic mess mode?
  12. Pulse (macross plus) is a big time favorite. Shadow of Doubt (Escaflowne) used to give me the chills... good stuff.
  13. The legs look a little skinny, aren't they? I don't know... It looks like they're rushing the toy to milk with the series as soon as they can... I would rather wait some extra months and have a really top quality toy. Oh well... It may be an old prototype. I guess we'll have to wait and see...
  14. Are they making the golden knights too? I still have my old Bandai Virgo at home..
  15. I'm actually looking foward to this one. Christian Bale was a pretty good choise. Finally we have a dude who looks like Bruce Wayne, and his wood acting may actually helps portrait a very cold and emotionless Batman
  16. I've sent a couple of messages to McFarland customer service (with cc to every email on their page) and I never got a reply from anybody. The company stop caring a long time ago... if they ever did.
  17. Denuone Latine loquebar? Me ineptum. Interdum modo elabitur. Vah... Fac ut vivas!!!
  18. Hasbro DOES come with the axe, megatron and all other accessories. The differences are the short stacks, the battle damage "dirty" paint job, some of them have a black gun, a poster and 75.000 twist ties. Hope it helps.
  19. Hey, that looks great fox! Much better than my V-117 with ED-209 legs
  20. IMHO This just proves that pokemons can be as harmful to a child as grand theft auto... In other words, is not a particular game or cartoon that creates violence. A good parent is supposed to prepare a child to live in this harsh world we live. And including teaching them that people out there are not always nice, but you should not retaliate with a sword when someone calls you a pikachu...
  21. I used to like SF something like 10 years ago... It is incredible how Capcom has managed to milk the series for so long... My grandchildren will be playing "Super Street Fighter MCXXVIII Mega Ultra Champion Special Ultimate Fighter Tournament Edition" one day.
  22. I may be the only one in the world who really liked the Hulk... The end loose it a little bit but the overall experience was very fun.
  23. Bah... nobody gave me a gerwalk mode... I had to do it myself
  24. Sweet! Can you post a picture on gerwalk mode?
  25. Oh man, I can't belive I disposed of all twists before EXO discover this great use for them Now I need to buy something that cames with ties now... No, wait... I'm in a toy forum... I'M BUYING TWIST TIES PEOPLE!
