    We saw Zentradi command ships leaving withe the Megaroad in Falshback.. I always figured that was him splitting with Hikaru, Misa, and Minmay.

    I can't say at all I didn't enjoy Plus, Zero and now Frontier, but still they can't even stand in the same room with SDF and DYRL/FB.. Max has a point also... Every Macross is kind of the same SW ONE plot over again. SW ONE is where the story is, beyond that there is really nowhere the story should go, because it dilutes the point of the loss of culture, and regaining of it. Maybe stated a different way, a valuing of human emotional response above all.

    Macross should have ended with DYRL and Flashback, everything since then (though entertaining) has been nowhere near the level of DYRL excellence.

    I just remember playing with my 55s when I was a kid. When I transform one its like going back. Besides how many times have your buddies grabbed your 1/48 off the shelf and tried to transform it? Heart attack time right? They look at it, and I hand em a 55 and tell em to knock themselves out.

    The guy narrated 10,000 BC! One of the greatest actors of all time. Seems under-rated at times. He was unbelievable in Monsieur Ibrahim in 03..

    Hikaru(SDFM and/or DYRL) - Regular guy, but just couldn't make up his mind Alto - Moron when it comes to women, seems shocked by everything that is painfully obvious Basara - Come on guys, Basara is gay. I don't want to start a flame war with this (nor will I engage in one) but the character was obviously written to be homosexual.

    In RE: A View to a Kill I love that movie too, but that had Christopher Walken as the bad guy... IMO one of the better bonds. No shame in liking this movie.

    I agree, design wise, DYRL/Flashback was the pinacle for Macross... Everything since then has been a poor second. Reanimating the series (or what I suggested earlier, to reanimate DYRL) would be awesome.
