In the 80's Ferrari made clean beautiful cars, where Lambo had some beautiful lines, but they couldn't get out of their own way by messing it up with little ducts, and wings which ultimately made their cars look like a mess.
I feel that in the 90's the companies reversed roles and haven't switched back. Ferrari does not make pretty cars anymore in comparison to other super cars.
I took my Lotus in for service on Monday, parked between a few lambos and a newer Ferrari 599. I told the service manager that he could pluck the badges off of the Ferrari and tell people that it was the new Toyota Supra. He laughed and agreed.
I bought my Lotus because I get 90% of the supercar experience for less than 100 Grand , that being said, in all honesty I feel that my car looks better than any Ferrari made today. I would say today the most beautiful cars are Astons, then Lambos, then Lotus, then Ferrari.
