I saw this show the other day... so stupid. There was some chick walking around in the latest winter '05 winter fashions.. I actually recognized her Prada boots. HAHAHA.. So low budget, so TV.

Don't worry about it man.. I believe you. Macross is the easiest term to remember out of Robotech because the rest of it sucked. The members here prefer Macross in its original form, you should check it out. I am the nice guy here by the way.

Why, does it really matter? Does it make the movie horrible if you can tell? I just asked everyone in my office and they all thought the Storm Troppers were real actors.

I always felt like it was a LoTR for small children. Later I found out that there was some kind of religious allegory in it, which turned me off even more. I'm guessing bootleg. I can't think of a single reason why a company would release any of their DVD catalogue as Region Free. That just goes against region coding which they enforce with a vengence. That set even looks weird... Not consistent with their corporate branding at all.

I loved SDFM in the 80's, both my parents were fans of it too, which helped me see the original as opposed to Robotech which was aired in the US. My Dad loved the VFs and my Mom liked Misa and Minmay. I was a fan then but I became a finatic when I saw DYRL in 85. It was just awesome beyond words.

I'll give it a chance, Theron has never done a sh!tty movie that I know of. I think you fanboys are too critical... of just about everything. Underworld was lame, but you can NOT compare the acting tallents of Theron and Beckensale... Charlize is 20 times better an ACTRESS.
