1. Awesome, thanks for the heads up black valkyrie (i was just about to call you black convoy haha), even though i've already preordered mine (and i'm hoping it sticks) everytime i see new pics it just blows me away at amazing this little figure is. I really hope takaratomy takes notice and opts for a second release with how popular the figure is becoming. Everyone needs one of these bad boys.
2. geez man! THANKS ALOT! NOW I have to go get me one! It looks awesom! Guess I gotta get a Hot Rod to stick in the back too! 383689 IIINM (If I Am Not Mistaken, haha) that's a Worlds Smallest Transformer of Hot Rod in the pics right? 383845 Yes sir it is. If i remember i think he might even be one of the easier to find chases from the second series of WST. He's still a chase though i think, so you'll probably end up paying more than the price you would for some of the more run of the mill guys.
3. Sorry to break the news to you man, but palisades recently got bought out and they're closing their doors. http://www.tformers.com/article.php?sid=5516 I don't think we'll be seeing anymore of their statues.
4. Sunstorm. http://oneshallstand.com/2002-04/images/g1v3_issue2.jpg He played a very large role in the first six issues of the Dreamwave Comic's Third G1 Series before it was canceled. Def. worth checking out. It's a great read with an awesome storyline IMO. SPOILER Sunstorm ends up fighting Jetfire (Skyfire) a number of times throughout his run in the series.
5. Found this link on Tfans: THS-02 Auction (check the last picture) The whole thing takes a little while to load, but the bottom picture of the auction (which loaded for me suprisingly fast) has a cleared up picture of the MP-03 Starscream insert that comes with THS-02 Hybrid Prime. Nothing new, but it's still good to see it without those scribbly black lines over his face and body.
6. That's a pretty neat little article, thanks!
7. I don't know i'm holding out hope that these guys are all they're cracked up to be, because if they are i'm pretty certain i'm going to buy them all... some based solely on the coolness factor at the amount of articulation and poseability they have, since some of the series i haven't even seen. I guess we can all be the judge when they finally hit.
8. Man i haven't seen this in years, one of the greatest ideas ever to be put on the net. Always had me rolling, a def. must view.
9. The left one is the test shot of the Alt./BT Mirage set to be released in May/June in the states. And yes he will be blue and white. As for the Yellow and Black GT on the right, that's a picture of the Roadbots GT in Robot mode. The Roadbots line is about 1:18 in scale so it's alot bigger in comparison to Alt/BT's 1:24 scale. This line IMO is hit or miss. This one looks awesome, but some of the others they've released and have on the horizion look a little too blinged out for my tastes. RoadBots
10. That is downright amazing! I don't know if i could justify spending over a year building it though, but boy am i happy someone else could.
11. You seen this? http://marksprojects.com/trailermp2.htm He did a pretty damn good job, it's just too bad you'll be dropping almost a grand to get one. Oh well if you're a huge magnus fan maybe you can justify it heh... but who's a huge magnus fan?
12. As soon as either the hobby magazines for the next month hit or THS-02 (Hybrid G1 Prime) is released we can be one hundred percent certain one way or another whether this rumor is true. IMO i think it's true, not only because i want to believe it, but because it really makes sense if you think about it. I'm sure making a new Masterpiece mold for Takara with all the Diecast parts and the amount of detail that would have to be included in each release prevent them from going crazy on the line like they normally would on their main stream lines, so... with that in mind, what character could they come out with that is not only popular with alot of fans, but at the same time can easily be repainted and to an extent retooled into other characters? Starscream. A Starscream Masterpiece bascially means we can expect a Thundercracker and Skywarp Masterpiece some where along the line (keep in mind they might be exclusives, but i'm 99 percent sure we'll see em eventually) with Sunstorm and maybe even slight retools into the Coneheads (Dirge, Ramjet & Thrust) perhaps later on down the line. 7 potential toys from one mold sounds like a good bet to me, but i guess only time will tell, esp. if this intial rumor is just that... a rumor.
13. Check this out: http://www.tfans.com/talk/index.php?showtopic=44785 It looks like Starscream might be the next Transformer in line for the Masterpiece treatment! That's some exiciting news if you ask me!
14. You know it i just had spame and portuguese sausage this morning. Awesome, awesome.
15. Boy i love it when they do that. Makes it look you're getting a real deal until you realize you have to eat it in the shipping costs.
16. I have no idea how that relates to anime or sci-fi, but man was it funny, thanks for the laughs.
17. For a first time customt that looks pretty damn hot. Nice color choice on the fast packs.
18. The GC was a great little system with some very good games, but nintendo seriously needs more staunch third party support that's willing to make either more exclusive games for the system that can appeal to the masses or more ports of strong selling games from other systems. I think when RE:4 was announced for the PS2 less than a year after it came out for the GC as an exclusive (from the words of the series creator himself i think it was) it was just about the final nail in the coffin for the system... except for maybe LOZ: Twilight Princess. 378412 Well, the 'Cube kept RE0. We saw how much attention that got it. I seem to recall it being branded a crappy kiddy-fied version of the series because it was a 'Cube game. 378418 Never played it so i can't say how good or bad it was. I recall it getting pretty good reviews, but nothing thru the roof. People who went out and said that it was a kiddy version of the RE franchise simply because it was on the Gamecube are morons. But even though they were able to keep that prequel on their system exclusive, there's nothing that draws people to the GC from the other systems more than the First Party Franchise games and those were just too far and few between. Don't get me wrong i love my GC and i pre-ordered it, crazy enough, but i knew from what the N64 situation was like, what i was getting into and i was willing to accept that because i loved their first party games so much. For most consumers though, who can't afford mulitple systems, there just wasn't enough on the GC for them to support an exclusive purchase in comparison to the PS2 and Xbox.
19. I tried hard to get into FM2, but i guess not being able to understand the storyline (with it being in japanese and all) just killed it for me. Fun game, but i just wish i could understand what was happening. 378367 I played through maybe 5 or 6 missions of FM:2 tops. From what i experienced it plays alot like FM:3 and there's all the usual customizable options (swapping parts, changing wanzers, changing names, changing paint schemes) and on top of that all the menus are in english so that's never a problem, it's just that the story is of course written out in Japanese so I never had the urge to play through more than that because i couldn't get into it. If they ever translated it into English i'd be one of the first in line to pick it up, but until then, i'll keep it for sentimental reasons.

21. 378381 I'm well aware of that. I guess the way i said it, it came out wrong. He recasted Eternal D's original casts. Technically they are still recasts of recasts though, because Eternal D has had to recast his original sculpt many times over. It's not an assembly line production or anything. As for the LOW VIZ DYRL hands, i'm still missing mines as well i thought they were supposded to be shipped out like a week or two ago?
22. No... NOW I'm just showing off... Go to the original post to see the other showoff pics. 378143 How'd you decide who gets clear and who gets tinted canopys?
