The Official Aim for the Top! Gunbuster Thread
Fort Max replied to Noriko Takaya's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
It's nice but it's lacking all of the foldig panels on the back that bandai are using to hide the cleavages on the buster machines. So it's defintely a mockup or possibily even fanart. -
The Official Aim for the Top! Gunbuster Thread

A teeny tiny bit more Gunbuster love before this months real goodies (dengeki hobby scans) show up. Colours are looking pretty accurate to me. -
Yeah, I know the one you're thinking of, I have one sitting in a proxy servces stash right now. I don't know where to go for pics but Drifand has some so PM him and ask nicely for the "DX Mushacoth Command Gundam" pics. Getting back onto the more important topic at hand, I store all of the weapons and spare parts for my pros in a little plastic craft box/tool box that I have on my desk. I'll snap a pic later for those who are curious but I can get everything in it bar Zetas Hyper mega Luncher and Asshimars stand.

Very Unique New Figure Display System.
Fort Max replied to Fort Max's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I'm reminded of the Prisoner. -
Wow promethuem5, you really went to town on that little guy. I've thought about doing some panel lining but am too chicken to try it on something so small.

Since this whole page has been nothing but Pros I thought I'd throw this into the mix. HLJ have these fantastic new figure stands in that work beuatifully with Pros, http://www.hlj.com/product/YLSPPC-28 And here's a couple of pictures of mine, http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v51/Fortmax/Zetaflight.jpg and here's how I rigged the Zeta, the prongs are right up inside the wings with the wires bent to pull them out a little. Shiki just has them wrapped round the backpack. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v51/Fort...etaonprongs.jpg I've only tried these two so far as I've been busy but I have just about all the pros and will take requests for pictures.

The racing stripes (as they're known in some parts) are very much a love it/hate it thing. I thought the early ones were quite bad but recentley Bandai have managed to make them work better by using more subtle differences in tones. The ground type Zaku II comes with everything the first release had plus all the new stuff, http://www.noda-ya.com/html/syohin/gundam/02600336.htm http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN941859 Gouf is also out this month, allready ordered this one, http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN941858 I second the recomendation on the MKII, it's just all around one of the nicest Pros there is. I'd go for the complete set with the G-Defensor and flying armour. http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN934081

I think Sonic is likely to allready be present in this version to be honest.
-
Yeah, I really don't think a Dendrobium is out of the question, bandai allready did it twice in a larger scale after all. They can do all the others if they want but Dendrobium is the only one I really want. In the meantime I'm left wondering what has become of the Zeta fest Bandai had going on, there was talk of an HCMP Methuss not so long ago and there are still some other suits recentley released under HGUC (Gaza-C, Galbathley) that could easily be converted into pros. And how could Bandai deprive of us a good quality 1/200 Psyco Gundam, honestley they give with one hand and take away with the other.
-
, you gotta see it for youself, http://www.toysdaily.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=41434 It's not going to work well with poseable robots but it's certainly interesting.
-
I have faith that Bandai will make the inevitable 0083 line even more droolworthy, this is their chance to finally make Gerbera Tetra more available. And I still have my fingers well and truly crossed for some larger scale HCM Pro toys. This seems to be dependent on the size of the figure, e.g, Asshimar has seperate hands and weapons but the later releases like Zeta do not. Still on the topic of Pros, I was ordering Jagd Doga from Amenbo when I came across this in the description for the ground combat Zaku II, "this new items comes with a HCM pro post card. Fisrt come first serve, while stock lasts." Any ideas?
-
There's only going to be 1 decal set for each faction, it falls to you to distribute them evenly. The Re-GZ looks so beuatifull, I never even wanted one before now. More Jagd Doga, posted on Gunota, http://www.amazon.co.jp/exec/obidos/tg/det...5354534-8859100

It costs nearly 3000yen all on it's own so it bloodywell should be.

Every other Pro I have (and that's pretty much all of them) is fine, it really is only those four that have issues and of those the RX is the most solid anyway. all pros are made of good hard, solid plastic, chew toys they're not.
-
Well, bear in mind that the first four figures, Gundam, Guncannon, Zaku & Rick Dom all had loose joints, My doms lower arm falls off at the drop of a hat but that's first generation products for you unfortunately.
-
If that 2 on the end there designates the MkII then you'll get exactly what you're looking for. If you brought the first Gundam then you may be a little dissapointed as it had some loose joints being as it was the first figure from the new line. Bandai ironed out all the little flaws like that some time ago and the MkII is a very solid and fun figure. Zeta is always going to be a problem due to all it's moving parts and tiny locking clips but for the size and detail the Pro version is very impressive.
-
Cool. Then there will be 2 volumes only since its a 6 ep series. Will get it when the whole thing comes out. Personally i don't find the story hard to understand at all? Not sure why quite a number of people can't understand it. 399480[/snapback] Perhaps they only watched it once. Voluem 2 is due late Sep btw.
-
Manga got the theatrical versions apparently, "volume one" is actually movie one and is the first three episodes stiched together without intros etc.
-
Question: Did the US release come with a little mini poster/booklet with character descriptions on it? If not then I'll scan mine for you, I've seen a lot of people say they don't understand it when this leftlet makes a lot of it clear.

3rd Super Robot Wars Alpha latest pics
Fort Max replied to ogami's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Dunbine has been in a few, I don't think Escaflowne has featured. -
Well there's only two so it's not gonna be a massive drain on the old wallet. Manga says, part two won't be out untill late september.

Gunota says, "HCM-Pro Jagd Doga Quess Paraya limited version Plamo-ya San's Useless Diary Ex-S says the HCM-Pro Quess Paraya Jaga Doga will be sold only on a limited basis. The figure will likely either be available at an event like Chara Hobby as an exclusive item or otherwise as a limited edition like the Green Divers HCM-Pro's." I say, (if it's the former option) GITS!
-
I did notice, I suspect that it's because it would have been too similar to the lab scene from number 2.
