1. The ones shown in Sazabis image come with the Jagd Doga and supply JD, S & the Gera Doga. Re Gz's decals supply ReCz, Nu gundam and the Jegan. The three piece set has it's own decals with big toothy grins for one of the tanks.
2. Another leap forward for Pros, from Gunota, "HCM-Pro White Base supression squadron set (Zaku II J type, Magella Attack, and Cui) - July, 3,360 yen HCM-Pro Char's Gelgoog - August, 1,680 yen" and that's in addtion to Sazabi and Re-Gz respectively.
3. This just in, not a crack! http://tamabase.3.pro.tok2.com/garlad16.jpg From here, http://tamabase.3.pro.tok2.com/toy44.html
4. Eh? I had the impression the SHE one was huge as heck. If that' s the case, there's almost no reason to get the SHE one over the SOC. 404539 SHE stuff and "huge as heck" aren't words you should ever expect to hear together. I belive their Gunbuster stands at around 18cm, Bandai's will be somewhere in the region of 30cm. edit, I just checked and SHE Gunbuster is 17cm head height, 21.5cm to the tips of the shoulders. At least, I'm presuming that's what it says, http://halfeye.m78.com/products/gunbuster/gbuster.html
5. If you do dig through the Gunbuster thread you'll find details of the upcoming Soul of Chogokin version which will be twice as large and 1/3 of the cost of SHE's.
6. I don't see where that site says it's out.... 404204 It doesn't say that but people are posting lots of pictures so it's pretty safe to assume that Yamato have let it loose. From toyboxDX, http://www.toysdaily.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=42294 http://www.toysdaily.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=42300 The other company is Max Factory, since they didn't attend Shizouka (owing to them not being a model company) no ones seen what stage they're up to with it but it was supposed to be coming this summer. Belived to be their first transfoming gokin figure no less.
7. I don't need to hear mpressions, I just want to hear those magic words telling me my orders been shipped...
8. I reckon it will be, most of the gimmicks are in extraneous parts (shoulders mostly). The only gimmck that could cause trouble for the articulation is the Buster Colliders and those seem to be swappable parts anyway.
9. Ah, when you said confirmed I thought you were implying that you still didn't belive it was happening. I'm quite happy to pre-order now (well, when I get paid) I've watched a lot of SOC's progress from sketches onwards and Bandai always delivers.
10. I'm confused, what do you mean by confirmed pics? There are photos of the prototype version in several scans as well as at the Shizouka hobby show.
11. See Garlands worky bitz laid bare! http://hima-toy.cocolog-nifty.com/blog/200.../post_9476.html
12. The first three are out, Dante, Dougram and New Getter 01. Evas 01 & 02 are out middile of this month. The orange translucent Eva is available now as a gift if you buy a copy of Figure King No.100
13. It's 18,000yen according to the placard at Shizouka & HLJ/Amenbo allready have listings for it.
14. Dang, ya beat me to it again Danguard Ace. Too much time spent drooling and too slow on the reposting, that's my problem. Anyways, how amazing is that scan. Just when I thought we'd seen everything this figure would have (and I was allready impressed)... BAM! Have a rip off chest plate and power core with trailing cables as well says Bandai. Domo Arigato Bandai! It's so rammed with stuff that the other magazine couldn't print it all...
15. Ah, 38 was a nice episode, watching just about everyone on the ship blow their little communications breakdown completely out of proportion was great fun & very true to life.
16. Ah finally, it's about damn time that someone did something with this show. I'm glad Funi got it since it means we'll see it here in the UK a lot quicker then we would have done under ADV. On another note, I just watched the OVA today, I wasn't expecting much from it to be honest so I was very pleasnetly surprised by a) just how funny it was and b) that every character had an equally good scene interacting with Tessa. Being a mecha nut I found the bit with the *ahem* reprogrammed M9's to be simply brilliant.
17. I think that if you've never watched Gundam before then it would be a good idea to start with Gundam Seed as it is still new and very polished and all that but it stands on it's own (for now at least) save for the sequel series that has only just started being released in the west. More importnatly it will serve as a great introduction to what Gundam is about and what the storys are like without having to delve into the massive web of intermixed shows that is the UC Gundam storys. If you like Seed, then you should get into the UC.
18. YOU SUCK! 402782 I'm waiting on Gunbuster which will cost a bomb. 402830 Same here, Voltes is very accomplished but I feel no strong attachment to it whereas Gunbuster is probably my fave super robot full stop.
19. Good grief, the competion on this things price is fierce. Oh well, twin moons allready took my money so there's not much I can do now.
20. Ohhhh, gimmicks! Thank you Danguard Ace. edit, Just whacked it into photoshop and blew it up so I could see it better and those planned gimmicks are well impressive. It looks like they're planning on designing the arms so you just have to pull off one side of the armour on each arm to do the iconic crossed arms pose. In other words, you don't need to change the arms like on the action figures. The buster homerun and Tomahawk & feet shredders we allready knew about from the earlier art, the cape was mentioned but not shown and it looks very interesting. I can't think of any toy ever that had a deployable cape. It also includes a miniture RX robot to hold in it's palm which pretty much embodies what I love about japanese toys and that is of course their obessive attention to detail. This is going to be well worth each and every last thousand yen.
21. More Garland, http://www.toysdaily.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=41976
22. Thanks for the pics Graham, the weathering does look good butI don;t mind teh showroom finish myself.
23. Twin Moons has changed their shipping date to the 10th June. http://www.tmpanime.com/index.php?main_pag...4eaac3ccd7e5916
24. Back to the pros, comparison pic of Jagd Doga next to a Zaku and testshot pics of Sazabi and it's acessories. The JD is massive, I hate to think how much bigger ole Ferrari Gundam (as I used to call it) is goiing to be.
