  1. Macross II, one of the best opening songs. The rest can be forgotten. Macross 7 is worse BTW ...
  2. Wow!! really nice! Beautiful VF-0B! Love the box art of that kit. Of of the best of all in IMHO
  3. Miria's VF-1J last update, I swear!! All clear parts are in place, no big difference but I called done!!! All 3 done, next one MAX (Super) and the last one will be Kakizaki
  4. Wow, really nice!!
  5. Thanks, yeah 40 hours approx. These is a little more challenging that de VF-1S because there is no decals, but you always can paint most of the principal markings. The 1/48 VF-1 is far superior than the 1/72. I think is one of the best cience fiction model kits arround, including Bandai's star wars kits (I have a ton)
  6. Miria's VF-1J un 1/48 almost done. Just clear parts needs to be attached.
  7. Thanks!!! Max will be the Super Valkyrie and the last one will be Kakisaki,s VF-1A!!
  8. Thanks Arbit!! Next step is applied all the stencils, then panel lining and detail the landing gear and very important the clear parts, some minor watering and that's all. After these one I will do Max's Super VF-1J
  9. Thanks MechTech!! A few more pics with principal decals applied and a few stencils. I use decals from the SUPER Max/Miria kit and the NO STEP stencils from a Tomcat decal sheet, same color of the grey stencils that came with the Super, so I take that liberty.
  10. HLJ.com is selling the VF-1J/A at $28, that's is cheap!!!
  11. 1/48 VF-1J Miria continue
  12. Some minor advance in my VF-1J Miria (Millia)
  13. Arbit!!! Really nice job!!!
  14. Agree!!! but it's almost 10 years since the release of the YF-19 in 1/48
  15. Did Hasegawa drop the 1/48 Macross kits line? No new molds since the Super/Strike kits in 2013
  16. Looks really nice!!! Great work
  17. Ep4, Ep5 and EP6 all use the Saucerish Falcon (5 foot). The 32 inches falcon (flat one) only was use for the asteroid sequence in EP5 and the reshoots of the falcon in A New Hope Special Edition. These is the original Millennium Falcon used for Ep4 and mos of the screen time for Ep5 and 6:
  18. The Bandai version is totally accurate for the EP7 and EP8 Millennium Falcon. ILM used the original A New Hope schematics for the "digital" falcon for the sequels. The 5 foot ANH version is more saucerish as you said. The 32 inches MF created for the ESB is flatter. They only use that flatter version to film the asteroid sequence, so the original MF is the ANH version, the same version ILM used for the EP7 and EP8. Bandai is accurate!!!
  19. mmm... and if you try to paint the panels over the decals? I don't like Bandai decals at all. I painted all the panels of my 1/144 MF
