  1. For me it's similar. I'm hoping we get an announcement that Beagle or Megahouse or anyone really is also going to do a Legioss & Tread. Either that or we find out that the Legioss fighter is mistransformed in all the pics and the knees don't really stick out so far.
  2. Crap, is that something that can be fixed with a screwdriver?
  3. Never heard of them, but I've heard a lot worse.
  4. It's a joke in which you mock people who don't think an inaccurate toy is worth $250. Which is fine, but it sure does imply that you don't understand how someone would complain about the look of the toy. This toy wildly, needlessly deviates from the lineart and the TV animation. To recognize that doesn't make someone some sort of lineart nut.
  5. You forgot "I'd rather make a mortgate payment." But I do find it strange that you think it's unreasonable to expect a $250 toy to look accurate.
  6. Man does the 1/60 look hot. I want it so bad! I want to have it's babies!
  7. I'm in love with the CMs. I could do without the seam in the chest, and the ankle area is a bit weird, but the overall proportions are perfect. Bike mode looks hot.
  8. Well I'll be...I did not know that, and I never heard it until today. Weird. Seems like something I would have learned a long time ago. Anyway, I hope the point still stands.
  9. I think it's all about people with egos that want to leave their mark. People with no creative talent but too much editorial power. I just watched the Gunbuster training montage on youtube, and it's just ridiculous that they cut it out for legal reasons. Ther's no way in hell they could have been sued for it. The song sounds as much like Chariots of Fire as the Superman theme sounds like the Star Wars music. It's just the same type of instruments and the same kind of song.
  10. Thanks for reminding me to ask: Does anyone else think that gun looks too big?
  11. I have faith that somebody besides CM will do the Legioss & Tread. Especially if these Mospeada Ride Armors sell well.
  12. Hey, you started it. Notice I said nothing about the Toynami's QC or structural integrity. It's nice to look at, but from what I've heard, don't look at it too hard.
  13. Because Toynami's looks great in all modes?
  14. I wish the Legioss and Tread would get as much love from all the toy companies as the Ride Armors are getting right now. Maybe Megahouse or Beagle can try next.
  15. I'll say! It's freaking beautiful. It's the ankle armor that makes it look skinny, don't you think? It would be rad if they included a fatter ankle armor piece so we could decide which look we wanted. Between the CM and the Megahouse, I like the overall look and proportions of the CM. Damn, I wish the CM legioss Looked so good.
  16. I might just wait for Gunbuster to come out on Blue Ray. There's a good chance that Bndai Visual will just screw it up again, and if they do I'll get the Japanese version.
  17. Sweet, thanks! Ahh, crap. Oh well, thanks for telling me...I'll stop searching the internet for that UPC now. These are the singles I'm asking about, but I don't think they're remastered. Amazon Japan Link 1 Amazon Japan Link 2 Amazon Japan Link 3
  18. Good one! I bet Ramen Bank is finished. They've been in financial hot water for some time now.
  19. At first I was worried about my stocks in Yakuza Bank dropping in value, but percentage wise, their losses are in the single digits.
  20. Hey Mercurial, is that KAA rip a DVD-quality downloadable? Also, I might be able to get the R0 version if one of you guys can get me the UPC. It's not the same as the R2 UPC is it? My only other option is to try to get the R2 used off Yahoo Japan. And I really want the remastered set. Are the single R2 discs remastered as well?
  21. Am I the only one loving the look of the gerwalk mode? The backpack shape looks perfect. Also, I posted in-scale comparison pics of fighter modes somewhere in this thread, and the nose of the 1/60 was not really any shorter than the 1/48.
  22. Dude....dude! I totally forgot about Guardian mode! I've been callinng it Gerwalk for so long now. But, looking back, Guardian does sound a little more kick-ass.
  23. While I still think there's a huge anti-Toynami bias here on Macrossworld, you guys have convinced me that there might be more truth to the Toynami Alpha bashing then I realized. I'm typically not a very lucky person, so I'm amazed that all my Alphas are fine if only 50% of them are any good. Maybe it's like the Xbox 360 Red Ring of Death. I read about it online all the time, but nobody I know in real life has had the problem. But Eriku, I'm glad to hear you've gotten opinions from a variety of sites and realize not all the Alphas are bad. Also, I hope nobody thinks I'm defending Toynami's QC. Like I said before, it's bad, but I still everything with a grain of salt (especially negative views of Toynami toys on this forum).
  24. It's that high? I would have expected about 5% pass rate based on what's said here on MacrossWorld. I'd argue that you would have sent the three "questionable" Alphas back to Toynami if they were really that bad, but a 75% pass rate is still horrible. On the other hand, a 75% pass rate means that 3 out of 4 Alphas are good, which is far better than what I hear from some around these parts.
  25. I'm not saying Toynami toys don't have problems. They're just exaggerated and blown out of all proportion, while problems with, say, Yamato toys are downplayed and quickly forgiven. And for every person complaining about their Toynami Alpha, there are many, many more people who have no problems with theirs and no reason to complain. The bias is understandable, given that Toynami is associated with "homowreck" and isn't even a Japanese company.
