  1. I'm interested in 1 of each at least. I'm in the middle of changing jobs so please put me at the end of the list since I'm unemployed at the moment.
  2. The Captain is very near the top for me. My barrels are a little "bowed" but I can easily fix that. The absolute best cast Sci-Fi parts I ever saw are in my 1/35th Heavy Gear Kodiak by Fusion Models and my 1/35th Front Mission 2 Zenith V from Kotobukia. Platz and the Yukikaze aircraft have superior castings in them as well. In the Kodiak, I have trouble even finding the gates and mold parting lines. I hope I can get that good some day.
  3. Captain, Thank you once again for flawless execution destroid defender style... -THOR
  4. MT, I think your work should be in FSM. There are many here that do sci-fi very well and should be in FSM. I wrote to FSM once asking they do more in sci-fi because frankly I'm burnt out on Shermans, Tigers, Mustangs, and '57 Chevy's. Of course they have a deaf ear. To them, Star Trek/Wars are the only acceptible sci-fi modeling subjects. We need to get a Valk or Supersylph on the deck of one of those carrier models for a photo shoot! -THOR
  5. [attachmentid=42087] Check out this FSM review of Arii's VF-1S in 1984! I have every issue of FSM since 1982 minus 2 or 3 from the mid nineties. Here are the big aircraft carriers... FSM March 1999, Jerry Shaw's 1/96 scale USS Forrestal, pgs 55-60. FSM March 1997, Gabe Suranyi's 1/72 scale USS Enterprise, pgs 61-65. FSM January 1992, Experimental Aircraft Association's 1/72 WW2 Enterprise, pgs 28-35. FSM August 1987, Richard Quinlan's 1/72 scale USS Nimitz, pgs 22-25. "In January 1984 Richard Quinlan of Decatur, Illinois, found an advertisement from Super Ships of Lake Park, Florida, for a 1/72 scale Nimitz-class aircraft carrier hull. "The ad said the hull was more than 15' long assembled and 'only for the dreamer,' so I had to have it," Richard told FSM." pure sweet! -THOR

    Hasegawa VF-0D

good job. i like the weathering on the landing gear.
  7. It would kind of be cool to make a diorama with the artifical gravity or electromagnets off. I could image a toolbox with all of the wrenches teathered down.
  8. I dig the huge doorbell button in the center of the door. Sweet massive fire alarm bell on the other wall.
  9. There's only one way to truly quench your feelings towards a crappy kit... Glue a bottle-rocket onto the model and let it go in a blaze of glory. And don't buy one of those cheasy little bottle-rockets. Get a big one. I'd film it, too, for later enjoyment. I used to have over 100 models (pre-airbrush days) in my basement. 99.9% of them went up in smoke! That was a great day! -THOR
  10. I'm in for 1.... Did I see some line drawings somewhere like in the Daedalus for destroid hanger bays? -THOR
  11. Put me on the list. Any chance for the 1/35th?
  12. Luke, I can't remember who had the sweet CNC on that RC site where a large YF-19 was cut out of pink foam but... If it was you, are you going to cast us some 1/32 yf-19's or others... -THOR
  13. Got mine and it is so sweet! Another happy customer!
  14. Hello Pooh! If you scan any Hasegawa parts, would you be willing to share the data after it has been scrubbed & made suitable for the SLA? I've always dreamed of making 1/35th valkyrie/gerwalk/battroids and making dioramas of various scenes from the anime. Thanks! -THOR
