  1. The only Gestalts I finished were Computron and Superion. I got close to completing the 2nd generation Devastator (the yellow/orange color). I had five of the six (missing a leg, but can't remember which one). I only had a few of the Stunticons. I've been going through eBay and trying to get a loose set of G1 Constructicons and I've got three of them so far. Fairly decent condition (nice stickers, all parts included and no sever blemishes) and all were less than $10 each. Thinking about ordering a set of repro stickers to make a nice display piece when I'm done.
  2. The cards are damaged right out of the box. It looks like Hasbro is trying to fit the square peg in the round hole when they put them in the boxes.
  3. What the hell is up with Hasbro and there packaging? I was at Wallyworld this evening and found a carton of W2 Joes that were basically forced into the box. The cards were all bent and creased and the bubbles were crushed.
  4. Might be he's the one everyone is looking for. When I got him, he was the last one on the peg at TRU. My kid is mad at me now since BB is sitting in his plastic bubble next to the other sealed Transformers. I've been looking all over the place for another one that he can play with.
  5. I just nabbed a Beach Head figure this weekend too, and I agree he's a great figure. The only problem I see is that his crossbow falls apart too easily and it doesn't stay on the backpack very well. He was one of my favorite figures, and I think I still have the original somewhere around here.
  6. SCORE! Concept BB, only one on the peg at TRU. Tempted to purchase Arcee too, since it looks really sweet, but passed on it. Having second thoughts about doing that now...
  7. SWEET! Hope I get a copy. Is this one of those things where you need to be signed up with the Playstation Underground (I am)?
  8. It depends on how the store software is set up. I worked for a big box home improvement store (let's just say their name sounds like retards), and their software was set up to automatically generate a purchase order when the stock reached or went below a certain amount. The PO would then be faxed (more like email since a computer did it) to the general office, which would then order the items from the manufacturers. In the other lumber yard I worked at, it was all by hand and we were usually out of stock on a lot of stuff since my boss was an idiot and really dragged his feet on it (lost A LOT of sales because of this). I would imagine that a large retail store like Walmart or Target would be set up with an auto-order system, considering that there usually aren't enough people on the floor to help you look for something, let along take a stock count of everything in there.
  9. Check your local Walmarts. Just went there tonight and the shelves were overflowing with Transformers. Even found the old version of BB along with Barricade. Thundercracker was present as well as leader class Megatron and Brawl. No concept BB as of yet though...
  10. Wasn't there a point in our lives when the word "exclusive" meant "hard to find" or "rare?" Now it's been reduced to a method of forcing people to shop at one store, but they still make enough for everyone.
  11. I also wonder how "exclusive" the Target repaints are. There are at least 4 SS and 6-7 Jazz figures on the shelf and they don't seem to be moving. Did they make so many that everyone has them?
  12. WHERE THE FRACK ARE ALL THE TRANSFORMERS?!?!?!? Target doesn't have 'em. Walmart doesn't have 'em. TRU doesn't have 'em. Kohls doesn't have 'em. Who the hell has them out there besides eRape?
  13. Last I heard, they were trying to get the PSP to work as a controller and a rear view mirror for racing games. I don't know what other kinds of games it would be used for since it lacks the second set of shoulder buttons. Maybe they can have an accessory to the PSP that turns it into a standard controller with all the buttons and shape of those controllers.
  14. I have this problem when I change networks. For instance, if I'm at home I can stay logged in as long as I want. If I go to a place that offers internet access, such as a cafe`or something I will have to re-log in under that network, and again when I get home.
  15. Yea I've been having more luck at Target than anywhere else. I'm in Minnesota this week for a convention so I'll try a few places around here to see what I can dig up.
  16. Is that even possible? Their arms aren't that long...
  17. If it follows current Hollywood timeline trends, it will start with Shadow Chronicles for three movies, THEN do a Macross Saga trilogy and a spin-off movie after that.
  18. Those all popped up at the Walmart here too. I'm going to wait and see if the 20th anniv. Primes go back on sale for $25. I did see a bunch of TF Video Game figures at Target today though, as well as a Recon Barricade.
  19. Nearly every place I went to has the UBB in stock and the Walmart here has at least two Brawl's. Anyone interested in the G1 SS and Jazz repaints? I have another set of them.
  20. How they hell can you make a non-transforming toy for a Transformers character? It's Transformers for crying out loud, IT'S WHAT THEY DO!
  21. Found two leader class Brawls at the Walmart here. Also found a G1 style movie Jazz and G1 style movie Starscream at Target. If anyone's interested in them, let me know and I'll grab them. Ultimate Shelfwarmer BB seems to be easy to find around here (too expensive for ghetto kids).
  22. If you really hate those eBay whores who buy up a ton of products just to make a quick buck, then you'll really enjoy the video of the woman who tried to buy $16,000 worth of iPhones and sell them on eBay. Poetic justice at it's finest! EDIT: Here it is iPhone + eBay Whore
  23. Hmm, there are two Kohl's in my area. Looks like I'm road trippin' today. Got lucky at a Kohl's and found Brawl (smaller version) there and a couple others that the main places didn't have. The Walmart here just restocked the TF section with 1xIronhide, 2xRatchet, 2-3xStarscream, and more Megatrons than I could count. They also have these newly packaged real gear toys (two per pack). Not much else though...
  24. Yea but they weren't bragging about the Wii's graphical capabilities. It was all about game play with this system. The funky innovative control system is what really sells the Wii. And the fact that their coming out with WiiFit is an out of shape gamer's dream come true.
