Does anyone know how to reduce the dimensions of the image but still retain as much clarity as possible? Or better yet, does anyone know how to post a picture that is you can enlarge by clicking on it? I'm using Photoshop. Thanks!

I can't wait to get my hands on Hound. I'm going to customize him into a Hummer H1. I feel that would have been a better choice than what is being released.

Speaking of ugly TF stuff, who was the 5 year old they hired to do the box art? I could draw better stuff holding the pencil with my teeth while sleeping! Every single box art I remember seeing made the character look as if they were trying out for the TF Special Olympics!

Just an update for you people, I can only put one dot per location, so rather than you finding the lat long of your particular city, I would rather you find one close to your home address by using the link I give above. If you are already doing that, great. If not, please start as it would help make the map more understandable. Thanks! Bill

Here's a great site to find Latitude and Longitude on. Lat Long Post your locations in Degree-Minutes-Seconds format (i.e. N42-42-29, W87-50-50). Let me know if you have problems figuring out your location. As you can see, we have a lot of world to cover. UPDATED: 23-APR-04

I'll wait to see which areas have the most people. I can then do a large scale version of the states/cities with the most people in them. I doubt that people would share their addresses but I could create a list that says who is in what city. Edit: I was also looking at doing this another way. I was going to color in the states/countries based on a range of people (i.e. blue = 1-100, green = 101-200, etc.), then making state/country maps that show all the dots.

Might be wrong, but I felt this was the best palce to post this. The idea was sparked by a suggestion in the Feedback forum. I have a way of locating the users of Macross World using latitude and longitude via a map drawing I have in AutoCAD. This was suggested so that we know what part of the world the members are posting from (not by address but geographical locations). If you want to be included on this map, please list the latitude and longitude of the city/state/country you live in. As soon as I have a completed model (or nearly complete, or when this loses interest) I will send a picture to Shawn for display. I'll try to post a sample of this in a little bit. Thanks! Bill

I was thinking of maybe doing a connect the dots sort of thing and creating boudries of geographical areas. However, I need more than just two locations to start with. Hey, muswp1! We're practically neighbors. I'm in Racine, WI (lived in Chicago for 15 years though).

Perfect! I guess the way I can work this, is by finding out how many people live in a certain city, and give a certain color to the dot that I place on the city (i.e. a red dot means 1-300 people, blue for 301-600, etc.) Keep 'em coming Mods, if you prefer I can start a new thread somewher else, as I know this is for complaints and suggestions. I just don't know where it would go.

If I had the Latitude and Longitutde where everyone lived in, I could do something in AutoCAD. I have a world map that uses those coordinates in one of my files. I could create an image of lighted areas, to show where the majorities and minorities of the board are. It's pretty easy to get these coordinates, as there are many websites that can figure them out for you. Let me know if you're interested.
