Me too. The Classics line is my favorite so far, and Sunstreaker was always my favorite figure so I'm really looking forward to him. If they're going to release a special Botcon only version, they should at least release another version for the rest of the fans. Maybe give the Botcon one a special paint scheme or a special weapon or something.

I've seen Just two Concept BB's, maybe one or two Voyager SS's, no Voyager Ratchets or Ironhides, and butt load of Leader Megatrons and Brawl/Devestators, and not a single OP anywhere. I'm thinking about picking up that Arcee figure though. That one really looks sweet in both forms. My son's going to be happy in a couple weeks though. We were walking through the toy section at WallyWorld, and he noticed that there were no MP SS's left. He said "I really wanted one of those, but now they don't have them anymore." Glad I snagged a second one for him.

I would think that he's more like the Paris Hilton of comics. You don't really know why he's popular but you enjoy making fun of him.

Could the discs/CD's be corrupt? I only ask because I've run into situations where I couldn't view anything on a few CD's that I burned and I knew there was info on them.

That's what I thought, but the Firefly figure doesn't really sit any better than Beachhead. It doesn't appear that the "fix" really fixed anything.

I just re-posed the four figures in the cheap attempt at a YMCA shot above, and it appears that Shipwreck has the best ability to sit upright. All of the others lean back as if they were in recliner. I don't think Shipwreck has the crotch fix either. Snake Eyes has the next best sitting position, but he legs are spread just as far as Beachhead's. Fire Fly doesn't have his legs as far apart as SE and BH but he doesn't sit as upright as SW (in fact FF leans back just as much as BH does, so the crotch isn't really helping him). BH has the worst sitting position out of all of them. Unless I'm mistaken and Shin can chime in with a clarification on what the actual crotch fix was.

I wonder if they are more hard core about it in Japan than we are in the states. The ultra fans here want Bay's head mounted above a mantle. Any idea if the response in Japan was positive or negative?

I think this is the "fix" that everyone's talking about. Beachhead's legs are farther apart. No real change in the angle of the sitting position however. Again, Beachhead's legs are farther apart. And again, no real change in the angle of the sitting position. Notice the difference in the width of their "packages." Not much of a change other than Firefly's legs aren't as spread eagle as Beachhead's.

Hey David, I spotted a BB at Target last night. I can check to see if it's still there if you want it. In regards to the "new paint" apps, sometimes it doesn't matter how much makeup you put on an ugly person. They're still ugly. Same thing with the crappy SS and Barricade. They're still ugly figures, even with their new makeup.

Based on that picture, the only thing different is OP with a sword. The rest of them look identical to what's already been on the shelves, and SS STILL looks like crap.

We got it for my son a couple years ago when he was on a SW and TF kick. I didn't like the figure. Too floppy and it just didn't fit together right. The wing mounted weapons fell off to easily as well.

Yes, but the chances of them getting one from each of those places in one day are nil. By the time they get their one system from one store, it's a good chance that the other stores will be sold out by the time they get there to snag another one. Especially when there are long lines of people waiting to get one.

They need to do with game systems what they did with the iPhone. ONE PER CUSTOMER!!! The eBay whores that go into the store and buy up as many as they can really get under my skin.

I'm the same way. That's the main reason why I won't go to places like Six Flags parks. However, I did have to wait in line at 6am at an Office Depot yesterday with around 150 other people just to get a friggin' office chair. My old one cracked on one of the base legs and I needed a new one. Had to drive an hour away to get to the one store (out of six closer ones) that had ONE in stock. Yea, only ONE in stock. I found it, confirmed they had it, and then had to wait in line for nearly an hour just to pay for it. It was like Death Race 2000 in the parking lots too.

I doubt it since the line they gave me in the past is that they won't comp other stores sale prices. Something about sales being a "gimmick" and they only match regular prices. Good luck with it though. Maybe they've changed their evil ways.

My parents are going through that now. I've told them numerous times who had them in stock in the past but they didn't want it then. Since my mom likes to wait until the last minute to get anything, she had to shell out over $600 for a bundle deal on the net (either from Gamestop or Best Buy, and I don't even know if it's a guarantee that she'll get one) so my younger sisters could have one. My older sister went through the same thing last year looking for one for her kids (she called every retail store between Chicago and Milwaukee looking for one). Then I just happened to be in a Walmart when they got a box in and snagged one for my kid's b-day in April. We were done with the Solstice shopping over a month ago, and the short scale bass guitar I bought just came in. To hell with waiting in lines forever. I'd rather pay a little more for the gifts than try and make it through the riot day sales.
