Jeopardy style:
Made during the early 80's, this animated movie is Sanrio's adaptation of Romeo and Juliet.

Cool, I remember when they did a similar paper-craft Wanzer around the time FM3 was released.
Heh, heh....he said "Wanzer"....heh, heh
Being serious now, I presume Wanzer is supposed to mean Walking Panzer?
But wouldn't it have been more funny if the creators had decided to base the name on Walking Tank.
Figure it out your selves!

Here is the question - does anyone know what Splasher's original Japanese name was?
Whitey! lol

Neat! I always liked the Zenith series designs. Thanks for the links, I have to see what kinko's can do with this.

combustible campus guardress?
aka Bakuen Campus Guardress
That show is still one of my faves, anyways, you're up estacado.

Name the slightly warped OAV from which this litany comes from:
"The sky, the earth, and the pager have called! Summoning the high school babe, the greatest warrior maiden, ***** ******!" (name has been blanked out so as not to give away the answer)
If you were big into anime during the early 90's the quote should ring a bell...

Kubo, otherwise known as the OtaKing in the infamous Gainax mockumentaries "Otaku No Video" from 1982 and 1985, used to be a normal University kid doing normal things. What was the name of his University tennis club? I think the name of the university was Waseda, but that's not the name of the club.
Is it the "Wood Pecker Tennis Team"?

323.4-okay, I gotta stop. I have to get home from work
-
321.3-woot! Is there an easter egg that'll make em explode into bloody bits upon impact?
-
SV2 Humvee-looks nice! I could easily see Ohta wanting to drive it.

I have the entire series #1 -except the chase figure- in normal, and clear hair version
so technically I have no doubles,...sorry
It's cool. I never got the Minmay doll figure either despite buying a whole case.
I was under the impression that HLJ's listing allowed you to preorder a sealed case of 10 boxed figures, but after actually looking at the price, it seems they're only allowing pre-orders for individual boxes. This would lower anyone's chances of getting a complete set drastically. If these figures are going to be packed the same way as in the first series, getting a whole set is a sure thing (except for the chase figure) if you buy a sealed case. IIRC, you would either get a clear version of Ishtar or the chase Minmay doll with the first series. Oh well, I'll just wait for Marcia's Locker to get their stock in again.

Yeah, I guess I'm a little late, but there are still several more places I could check out. You preordered 10 sets? Do you have a store or do you just want that chase figure real bad? BTW, what is the chase figure for this set anyways?
No I don't own a shop, I just want that Minmay, Misa and Roy figure
(I didn't get the chase figure at the first release, though I ordered a complete box of 10 pcs,
but all I wanted from that were the Minmay and Hikaru, got them in both versions,
the rest is just bonus)
Psst, let me the first to buy any doubles from you

Yay-Misa! Next stop, HLJ pre-order section
Next stop? are you kidding? haven't you been sniping HLJ's site yet?
I already preordered 10 before the weekend

Hmmm, deja vu.

I kinda like the look of the evas now, except 01- too many lines and cracks. BTW, all of this can be mentioned in this discussion .
Gah, so this is where my thread went. My bad, I didn't know it was already brought up.
Lastly, about those plugsuit thongs... they were in the original anime like that. As near as I can see, those plugsuits are pretty accurate to the original show.Yep, the concept art seems to be faithful to the anime except for the outlined waistline. It makes the girls look like they're wearing bikini bottoms over their suits. Regardless, I'm sure this movie will be a lot better than the last anime-to-live action conversion I saw, Fist of the North Star....(ugh).

I'm not much of an EVA fan, but I bet you guys would get a bigger kick out of this than I would:
The background illustrations look good, but the thong outlines on the plug suits make them tacky.

That's one slick paint job, Devin. I'm glad to see you finally got some time for your own projects.

That doesn't look too bad, but after the Kado Senshi line my interest with the RX-78 has faded. I wonder how long it'll take for the Nu and Sazabi to get the Arch Enemy treatment?

I've been following the progress on this and the result looks friggin awesome. Great job, Kurt!

A-ko's a total romp, a must-see for anyone who digs a lot of 80's anime.

Cool, Stone Cold Unicron! Nope, I didn't get anything like that, I'm always naughty . Besides, I keep my anime and sci-fi needs in the closet. Happy holidays, y'all!

I have much love for the CF, and that one is simply gorgeous. Keep it up, Jung!
