  1. I think it's Guvava in the M7 equivalent of the hamster ball. But I could be wrong.
  2. NASCAR... "Southerner Praised for Driving-In-Circle Prowess."
  3. Generally, you'll find vernier thrusters all over the body of any space-going vehicle which plans on going in more than one directiion.
  4. Dude- this is MacrossWorld. Getting pissed off is our bread and butter!!!
  5. Well, it is professional in the sense that he was paid to do it for an established company under license.
  6. I thought he said that no one cared. He just used the DYRL designs because he liked them more. But I can't RekallĀ®...
  7. Here it is: Robotech: Covert Ops
  8. I wouldn't mind actual booklets instead of those lame ass recipe cards I got with the US release.
  9. Personally I think they look like crap. Seams and all. But on a lighter note: $80?!? Thank goodness I don't get too exciteded over MOSPEADA, or else I'd be pissed that they call this a "Masterpiece" toy.
  10. Is it me, or is the cocking lever on the wrong barrel? Should it be coupled with the lower barrel and the forward clip?
  11. And it's not Scottish, either. So it must be.
  12. Ploe-toe-a-cul-a-cha?!? Thanks Doc. I like to think so. The best thing is 1) She's incredibly smart, 2) She likes Star Wars, Star Trek, sci-fi and fantasy, and 3) I didn't even have to force her to watch the first ep of Macross, and afterwards she insisted we keep watching the whole series... What a woman!!!
  13. That still means nothing. It is widely accepted (although not by as many people as the "distribution of the TV series") that HG does have the right, through Tatsunoko, to develop merchandise based on the TV series. Once again, does that mean that HG, or any company they use for toy manufacture, can simply use existing designs from other companies? No. But it didn't stop them with the MPC, the SD Keychains or, possibly, the Superposeables (I've heard so many stories about the use of the design for these I don't know what to believe anymore*). I haven't seen the MPC "Alphas" but I wouldn't be surprised if those are knockoffs of the Gakkens as well.
  14. Sure, because by doing this, HG simply has PROVEN to Bigwest that they must have the rights to all of Macross outside of Japan. And therefore, BigWest must cower and allow Yamato to work with HG, because we all know that Yamato SO DEARLY wishes it could. I'm sure you know this because you've heard so many stories about Yamato's exec's crying in their hot sake because evil BigWest won't let them play with the superior American companies. It's my opinion, but I highly doubt these are the companies that BigWest or Yamato would would choose to deal with. Dude, neither Toynami, nor HG can even get the "UN Spacy" on the gunpod going the right way. Also notice, as was pointed out earlier by Graham and others, that the FASTpacks are not DYRL design, except for the Strike guns. So, in reality, these aren't even DYRL VF-1's. But they are, once again, crappy Toynami/HG knockoffs. Put that in your pipe and sell it for a tuppence*! *this phrase doesn't make any sense.
  15. Well, I just checked and it is an RGB .jpg, so I don't know what to tell you all. I cropped the image, resized it a bit and reposted it. All you people on PC's, and Ewilen ( ), let me know if it works now. Blaine23- I don't understand this statement: RBG's are the web standard, so that's the reason PC's all over the world don't recognize them? Did you mis-speak yourself, or am I reading that wrong (which could be entirely possible ) I'm not really a Mac-elitist. I just know that my Mac has worked better for me than any of the PC's I've owned since 1990. There's nothing wrong with touting what works for you*. I'm sure if I wanted to play hardcore games a PC would be my best bet, but for graphics I'm lovin' me iMac. *example: My Dad used to buy Chevy's. Always a Chevy, not matter how many problems they had. Then, in 1988 my Mum convinced him to get a Honda Accord... He's never considered a Chevy again.
  16. IIRC, the SD intro was used for the airing of the original series on Japanese TV for the 10th Anniversary in 1992. So I'm assuming that BigWest contracted someone to do it. I know it's not a fanmade film.
  17. Yeah, I kind of figured it was a PC problem, because our Mac's at work view it just fine, but the PC's get the red X. Silly PC's.
  18. Why is it so hard for hg to give credit to where credit is due, mainly to Big West for Macross. Beats me. They'll say it in words, but never in writing.
  19. I cant see the pic at work, Ill have to look at home. jk BTW damn Im good lookin Yeah, that is one awesome Red X you have there, Whitedrew. Huh... it works fine for me.
  20. What are you waiting for? Get crackin'!!!! (me <--- loves all designs from akira... especially the bike)
  21. Doubtful. Why I think so: Because even if BigWest came to an agreement with HG, I think that they would still insist on official credit. Just like everything RT has both Tatsunoko Productions and Harmony Gold credited, so would BigWest inist on having their name in there somewhere. Now if the announcement mentioned Bigwest at all, I'd be more open to that possibility. But as it stands, I don't think so.
  22. Speculation on your part. Admit it.
