How many of you guys have the whole HMR line (or at least "near") up to this point? (and if you're missing just a few, please state why)
  2. Wonder if they used this OR the Transformers version, which came out a little while later (or maybe they were released simultaneously)...
  3. Wow. Never knew about this!!! Amazing. LMAO! I believe some Yamato valks made an appearance in SDFM as well. Wonder if Hikaru still has 'em!
  4. Have you seen Japanese Toy Robots in movies? (Macross, Gundam, Chogokin, Mospeada, Transformers, etc.) If so, post 'em here. I'll start... Heart of Dragon (1985) – starring Jackie Chan and Sammo Hung:
  5. Thanks to all replies. Someone made me an offer I couldn't refuse. Sorry to those who were wanting some – I never intended this thread to be a marketplace.
  6. Apologies, Rabidweezil. I never intended to sell these on here (or even advertise them until they were on ebay), but ended up getting PM'd by interested buyers who already made me an offer. If the buyer changes his mind, I'll let you know.
  7. I'm going to put these guys on eBay, so you'll definitely get your opportunity. I'll send you a msg you a direct link when complete.
  8. I've had these laying around for sometime (years), but I can't recall if they're for the 1/48 or 1/60 Yamatos or Arcadias (or both). They fold, too. My guess is that they're the 1/60 shoulder hinges for either Yamato or Arcadia? Was it Yamato that shipped a bunch of these out to a user on this forum (then he, in turn, distributed them?) (I have since moved on to the HMR line, so don't have anything to compare them to)
  9. Is it exactly as the GBA game? I wonder if they sacrificed some audio and visuals (missing levels?) to "fit" it in there. I hope you review it! Happy belated B-day btw.

What you're saying goes great, visually, with your avatar.

That would be funny if they "rebooted" the line again after coming so close to a "full on" collection of HMR Macross toys.
  12. Thought I'd share with you guys, since it has some Japanese giant robot type-action. Just released on April 7th. More info: https://cityonfire.com/silver-mask-super-robot-red-baron-bravestorm-brave-storm-mitsu-dan-shunsuke-daito-shu-watanabe/
  13. Appreciate your reply. Thanks, and keep up the good posting work of these unique, rare visuals.
  14. Hell yeah. Thanks for posting. More more more! This is a long shot, but I have to ask: Would you happen to have any of the original catalogs/marketing material for the Select Convertors line?
  15. Man, has anyone ever beat the Arcade version of GRADIUS? Even with real-time, in-game saves, it's impossible to beat. I recently bought all those Konami collections that came out for Switch. I basically completed all of the games (Contras, Castlevanias, etc), but when I got to the Gradius games (Life-force, etc), I gave up. Good stuff. Awesome thread. I love retro gaming and artwork.
  16. I said this before, and I'll say it again, it's all about the very first wave (in their original sourced colors). I guess if I had all the money in the world, I'd go for the rest of 'em, but these are the ones that caught my eye. Again, thanks to @glane21 for the recent addition:
  17. Nice. I used to go to Spencers in the 80s as well (who didn't, right?), and I DO NOT remember seeing this stuff at all. The thing I remember about Spencers is mainly their sex stuff and the posters at the back end of the store (I'd spend a lot of time flipping through them trying to find the perfect poster of a Tomcat or Lambo) lol This is why I like them, especially carded. It reminds me of being at drug store in the 80s. Holding these things in your hand is like going through a time warp.
  18. Me too. I remember these hit the shelves the same time ROBOTECH was on TV. And I was like "They got the names wrong... wtf!?" =)
  19. Thanks for the exploration. Really cool. The first time I'm seeing this stuff.
