I don't think Alto cares about the political situation on Frontier that he would rather go with the Quarter just because Leon assasinated Howard Glass. Who is Glass to him? Just a leader figurehead, it doesn't matter who's sitting on that chair. Luca on the other hand knows most of Leon's plot and is still going ahead with his plans (to protect nanase). I guess this is an example of the end justifies the means. Quarter's situation is a hard one now....everyone on Frontier probably views them as terrorists. Who would change the perception of the public, none other then Ranka Lee on the Macross Quarter. The stage/bridge on the Frontier was initially set up by Grace but still not used yet...probably for Ranka later on to "emulate" to the Vajra?

I noticed it too but not something we won't know through logic since we know the position of the arms in fighter mode. Seemed pretty straightforward to me. More like the symptoms in sheryl have reached irreversibility and she's bound to die soon and nothing can be done to save her. But at the same time, the side effect was she being able to produce faint fold waves which are amplified by her fold quartz earrings. I think this has to do with Project Fairy mentioned by Grace by purposefully making v-type carriers to produce fold waves in an attempt to copy the success which is Ranka Lee. (which apparently does not need vtype infection) Perhaps they thought the project failed because Sheryl was unable to produce fold waves but now able to since she is nearing a final stages of the disease, something grace and co . failed to realise since they were suppressing the disease. I still think Vajra uses v-type virus to try and attempt communications with humans.

I notice that the VF-171EX that Alto pilots is different from the rest of the grunts. Alto's one has the chest armour with missile pods very similar to the super/armoured VF-25 's fastpacks whil the CF doesn't. I wonder if it'll get a red/white paintscheme later.

Check back 1 or 2 pages ago, i provided a link that Goro Taniguchi himself admits that R2 isn't what he envisioned for Code Geass. He had to throw away the whole script for what he had planned and re-do it into this travesty due to pressure from management (which switched Geass to the 5pm timeslot).

uhhmmm cuz its obvious? The writing for R2 has dropped considerably to the point that certain plot points were introduced but poorly used and seemingly for nothing, ie: The Knights joining Lelouch's school. I mean R1 had those funny/humour episodes but they are usually a set up to further character interactions and other plot points. Then there's the geass ability turned into a mere deus-ex-machina in the story. Progression: 1.) Lelouch goes do something crazy. 2.) He gets everyone in a tight spot....but no worries because he has geassed some ppl before hand and has turned the tide of battle! 3.) But seems not everything has gone as planned and some people has ruined his plans.... 4.) But hah....Lelouch has catered for this too 5.) But no...some outside force ruins his plans again and this time Lelouch did not cater for this scenario 6.) Someone (usually Kallen) will appear and save his ass. Not part of plan...but guess it works. The worse one was his fight with Xing-Ke. It was kind of painful to watch.
