Video Games that SHOULD be turned into movies......

Megaman X. Fallout....if i haven't already mentioned it. -
Ai-kun is a glorified "wagging tail" for Ranka that expresses her very own emotions, he's probably part of her hair. Or maybe Ai-kun is a queen as well. Did Enderverse have a few queens? I thought there can only be one at a time. The queen on the formic home planet specially made a queen egg when it knew its doom is near and sent it to Ender to hatch safely. PS: though now i kind of remember the new queen gave birth to a few queens for purposes of repopulating the species in Children of the Mind. As for Hive-mind vs Queen Mind....think of Hive-mind like a shared conciousness where multiple sentience form a single big entity. (some say that the Internet is the human Hive-mind) In fact Grace might be trying to achieve a human hive mind! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Group_mind_(science_fiction) Whereas in Ender, the hive mind is a bit more interesting as the queen herself is the only sentient being in the whole species using her armies as if they are part of her own body. The drones lack any sentient thought. In hindsight, its still early to tell if the Vajra are a gestalt existence or one with just the queen's sentience.
-
Actually the Formics had only ONE conciousness....the queen. All individual bugs that she controls are but a tiny appendage to her, much like your fingers or even your hairs. Its not a collective hive-mind as some have suggested. I think this is the same for the Vajra that it only has 1 or few queens that are sentient whereas the rest aren't.

It was argued in some threads that fold travel in Macross' universe has a time dilation effect although the evidence is not very clear nor very explicit. It was argued that due to fold faults, relative time will be longer ie: 3 months have passed on frontier whereas you only took 3 hours in foldspace to reach Gallia 4. I'm not sure what was the conclusion but its my opinion that there is no time dilation effect, BUT fold-faults affects time in transit. We take sailing in the open sea as the best analogy. Travelling from US to Spain by crossing the sea might take 3 months (i really dunno...just hypothetical). But due to storms and rough seas (fold faults) the travelling time is increased to 6 months instead of 3. Fold Quartz circumvents these obstacles and it just allows you to "teleport" from one place to another in real time, pretty much like the Ansible system in Ender which can be used to transport data and physical matter.

To whoever that called that the missile launchers on the VF-171EX can fire both forward and rearwards, he was right. It was shown in the ep preview of ep 23 when Alto fired missiles in battroid form and missiles came out from the forward and rearward ports of the missile rack. -

Wow Deebot you wrote alot that I was too lazy to write. Haha. But yeah your post basically summarises how i think the series will progress. The whole "grace attempting brain hax on vajra" also was called. I think Grace's actual motive is in line with "God-likeness", implanting human conscienceness in an unseen network and able to trenscend physical form. Grace already has the implant-network but probably it has limitations, like a time lag when information is sent long distance. But coupled that with the Vajra's zero-time fold network, information is sent with no lag. And as a plus, biological entities with the V-type virus can be controlled by people in the network. I wonder what Ranshe meant by "sacrificing them". Who is "them"? Could it be the Vajra, or could it be Ranka and Brera themselves? I have a feeling its the latter and there is a possiblity that Brera is not a blood sibling to Ranka, but a family friend and ultimately, Grace's own son. Then there can be a "I am.....your MOTHER!!!" "NOOOOOO!!" scene in the series. Sheryl IMHO won't die, but will probably not be the winner of the love triangle either. As some people have mentioned, Alto remains with Sheryl because he realises his actions are superficial and part of his "actor" act. The powerful scene on the rooftop now made more accurate by subs confirms it further and even Sheryl herself realises this. Ranka is a kind of "adapter" if you will through the vajra network. Previously there was no way for G.A. to access the vajra network so they tried to create "emulators" through the fairy programme (after the supposed loss of Ranka) but those experiments seem to be failures. Thus Ranka is a true and honest way for the Vajra to attempt communications with the humans by sharing its thoughts with Vajra and make her the ambasaddor to peace. G.A. has different plans and when this attempt for communications work, the alien thought patterns of the Vajra can be easily understood by human ones thus linking G.A. with the Vajra network. That said they don't need to link to Ranka, they just need the Vajra network to emulate human thought and from there, everything will go down hill. I believe that scene is when Sheryl rejects Alto upfront and tells him to go to his true love. I'm no Ranka shipper but i believe this to be pretty much guranteed. -
He's a jealous idiot/jerk. He saw his friend 1st hand and rejected him. But Raigyo is awesome.

I think HLJ's policy is working for your best interests. I would think at a certain box size, SAL's prices shoots up tremendously because its not the weight that's expensive but the size of the box. SAL is for small packages ideally and to be above the recommended size would make them charge extra. THere was a time before this policy when i ordered lots of stuff from HLJ and it came by SAL....the shippping was killer because the box was so huge. If i went by EMS, i would've got my things in slightly cheaper and faster as well. Now i make individual orders for huge items....learned my lesson well.
-
I always used SAL and since i don't really care when it arrives as long as it arrives, they eventually arrive in 2-3 weeks. So far no packages lost on transit either so I'll continue to use SAL. As for longer shipping times, it might be customs taking a longer time clearing your item. Check with your local post office. As thegunny said, HLJ has no control over the package once it leaves the premises. Though i had no troubles with order processing. My only qualms with them was they take too long to post upcoming stuff i want when all other sites already have them up yonks ago, attributed to an overworked/multi-tasking staff in purchasing dept. Apparently they already got someone else to list items up. And related to above, items get "Order Stopped" really quickly. Seems they try not to overstock a certain product unless its guranteed a sellout. >_<

That much is a given but i don't think Ranka is in control of the vajra YET. They brought her there probably to try to attempt communications so alot of explosions are gonna happen 1st before she attempts to turn the vajra into good guys. Then grace being grace tries to disrupts things again by trying to brainhax the Vajra network. I would think its possible for any of Grace and Co. to control the Vajra thus nullyfying the need for an actual "queen". They just required Ranka to open this connection for them, then she'll be deemed expendable. That's what i think. -

The 1st image i think is Ozma's apartment, the one where he stays with Ranka. Unless Alto borrowed it since Ozma and Ranka aren't around no more, and i doubt sheryl has a living place after her drop from fame. -

I loved the Kakizaki nod. I was like "OMG this guy is sooooo asking to die." Even Alto said its a jinx to talk about girls in the valkyrie. Then the guys go "WARRRGHHHHH!!!" I was like...yup...that guy had it coming but instead, i got rick rolled when his exclamation was actually for Sheryl waving. WTF....nice play, hory froating head. I swear that "WARRRGHHHH!!" was the probably same death scream as Kakizaki. The discussion itself had nothing definate. Drew conclusion based on reactions by Klan, Sheryl, and paper plane. Grace was researching the vajra neural network. It was my own theory that Grace and Co. were already in that network but probably not full control of it or something. It was just based on graphics of the neural net that looked similar to the one used when they were talking. Hey, just bring it up and post it in the thread. Nothing wrong with that. Use the "search" button. Good call on those of us who drew vajra's neural network with the philotic network in Ender. Now its just a matter of what Grace wanted to do with this network and how does "Cinderella's Horn" fit into that plan. -
Yoshiyuki Sadamoto? Yeah his works are awesome too but mikimoto is so retro and his style so distinguishable.

Shoji Kawamori != Hideaki Anno. or is he.....? -
No comment. #Macrossuki has die-hard sheryl shipping ops after all so they interpret the scene to whatever way helps her. I didn't say that Alto said he loved Ranka though. He never said that. But the scene implied that he has feelings for Ranka far from the ordinary friend and he feels responsible for her. But like i said in the other threads, this might turn another 360 degrees with the next episode. I'm just basing it on what was said this current episode.

I think what you mentioned as "Sheryl all along knew..." was just a simple emotion of jealousy/envy. I wouldn't look into it too deep. Unless the broadcaster(s) has agreed to let them have two timeslots, which isn't the case, i highly doubt it. -
Chances are high now since Alto (main char) gets a VF-171EX.
-
Very nice! Although Alto looks kinda scary, but Sheryl is cute and hot!!

We'll see. I speak it too. Besides the line "Sore ga omaye no ai ka?" is not a complicated phrase to translate. Followed by teary eyed sheryl saying she understands and wants to be "like this" for just a little more. Alto chose Ranka but how that will turn out might not be a simple "Alto ends up with Ranka" ending. In fact as per your theory, i think it might be the cop-out "each have their own destinies" route too....sorta like M7.
