An animation studio is a huge thing to manage. Besides, they were constrained by budget and time and they also outsourced to animefriend. So I guess animation errors are almost unavoidable. They probably happen alot in other anime as well, but just that MW-ers are all geeky people who look at the shows with a microscope.

Damn! I wanted this one so badly and just gave up on it after multiple losses on Ebay.

That's the one I wanted to get.

You kidding? Tonnes were lost! Now I know Albedo has some sick realian paedophilia with his hunger for energy or whatever it is he sucks from them......

Ya there's hardly any good Cowboy Bebop merchandise. The Bandai figures were junk. Both Spike dolls from Medicom were crap. I own the first and its collecting dust. He looks like a deranged clown. The Kaiyodo Spike figure was crap. My wife has the Ein stufed animal, Ed & Ein Plush doll and the vinyl Ein figure. Those are just in the "Eh" category to me. These new figures look alright. The pose for Julia is kind of out of character I think. Very true. The only non-mech series that I can think of that seems to have alot of figures made for it is Berserk. I own 13 myself.. not including the minifigures..Those figures don't exactly sell by the truck load but they sell enough and they are a tad expensive. I remember when Bandai started releasing character figures from Gundam 0079..they ended up in the clearance bin a TRU for 2.00 How about the anime Bandai line with the Swordfish toy? I kinda wanted to get that.

New Trailer for Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children
wolfx replied to UN Spacy's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Its a movie. And from the other page, it looks like there's gonna be a new FF7 game...probably set during the younger days of the Shinra corporation. -
There was stuff censored in the 1s one?

I think I shall warn you guys that I have not uploaded pictures since they are too big and I have no time now to resize them. But you can download it off bit torrent here. http://bt.hongfire.com/download.php/767/DH..._07.zip.torrent Items of interest are the Macross Zero hasegawa kits. They have the VF-0 and SV-51 in battroid modes. SV-51 looks like a stick man....and VF-0 while it looks better than the Yamato 1/100, it looks like it has a stubby nosecone. There's also a scratch built reactive armour for the VF-0. There is also a page which shows Minmay and Hikaru from CM1. A reissue? Hikaru is shown in his helmet with black visors and in Roy colors. I call it Hikaru because its in Hikaru's salute pose. The Min May looks the same. Besides these , there are many other cool non-macross related stuff which perks some interest.

The main site has a newer trailer. http://www.square-enix.co.jp/dvd/ff7ac/ View trailer 2. -
My wrong then...but i never bothered to explore the AGWS as you can already tell. And AGWS HP items were expensive especially with limited cash you have. (Can u believe i don't know how to play poker? ) AGWS were crap to me....i rather just attack with techs instead of waste one turn summoning the damn thing.

Official Transformers Alternators and more thread.
wolfx replied to David Hingtgen's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Energon Burn? (sunburn) Despite what I thought about the 1st Tracks protoype being fugly, I like this one. Might get the alternator version. Currently getting binaltechs of what I like and alternators of what i don't really like but want to complete the line. -
The SDF 1 crashed when Shin was a young boy....if you remember seeing Mac Zero 1 the 1st few scenes when he mentioned seeing "2 suns in the sky" and how beautiful they were. That was 2001. Probably 10-12 years old then. Mac Zero takes place in 2007 ish i think.....forgot.

Very sweet job! Now an interesting and risky mod to do is the torso area. Should make it abit more bendable like in the custom kakizaki posted. Anyway....good job. Now show us battroid and fighter modes pls.

Admitedly XS1 could've been alot better.....but I wouldn't call it boring for its cool story. Running around fighting monsters was quite a chore though...if that's what you meant. Main complaint of XS 1 was the battle system like David said. There were alot of techs and abilities that required a distinct combination like "female character in the back formation" or something like that. You have to set alot of crap up BEFORE the battle, thus causing it to be cumbersome and making you "can't be stuffed" thus putting all your chars in front and use all the offensive techs before bad guys kill you. Not much strategy there. And also... AGWS were useless. Sure they kicked ass when you start out, but after that they're just wasting your time since they can't be healed and the damage they deal are less than your techs. Hopefully they fix that with XS 2's MGWS (bigger AGWS' i heard). Main gripe with the story was they presented too many points to the player and the player (speaking for myself here) can't soak up all the information immediately causing him/her to miss out on important points. I for one didn't understand how AGWS were in anyway ANTI-GNOSIS since they got pwned very badly in the 1st battle. Then my observant friend said they did mention that the 100 series realians which were supposed to be onboard were not around to cause the Hilbert Effect, rendering AGWS uselesss since they can't harm the Gnosis. I completely missed that bit though. I won't be surprised if I missed out tonnes more.

Ok....i played the 1st one on a friend's PS2 before I had one....so obviously I dont' have a save file to carry over to this game. And I can't be stuffed replaying the 1st one. I wonder if this limits my abilities somewhat......how do those games with multiple volumes like hack work? Do get disabled alot for no save game from the 1st? Or worse....it doesn't start without that save game?

Sweet ass! That's pretty cool! Is the mod you did durable? From the big pic, it looks like the engine intakes to the thighs are held together by a small pin.
-
Jsarc: Ahh....and i tot captive take down pin was some sharp object used to bash a "captive" over the head. Strange that it would be there. I was refering to this picture Is the Land Warrior program still on? It seems to be on hiatus or something and might go down together with the Comanches and F-22s. Thanks for the insight.

New Trailer for Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children
wolfx replied to UN Spacy's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
You see Tifa in the new trailer whooping some ass, and Aeris looks like she's being laid to rest in the lake. That Vincent looks too pretty for his own good. But what I'm more interested in is what is that FFVII: Before Crisis thing? Is that a game? Do you play as Shinra's Turks? That's cool! -
OICW, and sort of, but not quite. Yeah, the XM-8 grew out of the remnants of the OICW programme. XM-8 is pretty much old news now, until it gets official adopted as the M8... Remnants? Is the OICW officially scrapped? I was wondering whatever happened to it and what US claimed to be its next main battle rifle? And looking at the diagrams of the XM8...wth are: 1.) Captive take down pins 2.) wireless thingamajigs for lasers?

Is that out of 100?
