Grimlock's legs look abit on the chunky side. Elephancitis even. -
Yeah...the side view showing how weird an angle the monster is standing at bugs me....maybe its a wrong transformation. But....I don't care. I'm gonna leave it in gerwalk mode anyway.

Awww....nooo....i prefered Grimlock as a dinobot. -
Is it transformed correctly? I thought I remembered the battroid mode to be standing straight but from the side view, the knees seem to be bent out as if still in gerwalk mode.

In OTHER news....wtf? Neil Gaiman's Death : High Cost Of Living is gonna be a live action adaptation? Sweet! http://www.superherohype.com/index.php?id=1774

Few secs after that scene when Roy jumps down, you can see the seat and how it folds, and the joints on the seat that made it fold. Inconclusive evidence....so shrug. Image courtesy of 1/1 Lowviz Lurker I somewhat agree to this design except I think the control sticks are connected to the arm rests, and the foot pedals are actually suspended like car pedals. Not connected to something on the floor. And yes he would be sitting, i just said he would be in a near-standing stance. Imagine the cockpit design of the entry plug in Evangelion. I'd imagine the pilot would be in that kinda position after transformation. This discussion should probably go to a new thread.

ouh sebastian....that sounds scary....I hope i don't have to become like that in future. The world would be perfect if i can live without working, or maybe buy valks for a living and not use a single cent.

No, that's a bit too low. For the DYRL? VF-1, the seat rotates almost 90 degrees. Between 75-85 degrees is more appropriate (Roughly around 80). If it was 50-60, I could almost kiss the steering wheel. The VF-1 seat in SDF Macross, rotates a full 90 degrees. I agree. Nice graphical aid btw. I forgot to correct myself. I THINK that the whole seat doesn't rotate 90 degrees, but rather the seat folds itself. In fighter mode, the pilot seats upright 90 degrees. In battroid mode, based on Mac Zero , the seat collapses down abit and the head rest and the back moves slightly up, making the pilot almost standing. In this stance, the pilot is still "sitting"/leaning against the chair so he doesn't stand on the footpedals that control the leg verniers in the valk. Again I ask you guys to look at the Mac Zero 4 31:21 (sounds like a bible verse ) and you can see how the seat folds. The arm rests which have the flight stick and throttle were already folded down in this scene though, probably for an easier exit. Now look at Mac Zero 2 and go frame by frame of the transformation scene where Roy 's cockpit was moving. Though not clear enough, it does show a possibility that the whole chair doesn't rotate, but the chair folds, having Roy in an upright position during mode change.

It's the VF-1 Valkyrie, not the MSN-04 Sazabi... Its hard to tell from Macross Zero OVA 4, but there is certainly a rotation of the seat somewhat when changing battroid mode. The scene where Roy crashes and bails outta the cockpit by ejecting the heat shield and canopy, it would seem that the chair stays there but it folds. The head rest and seat actually slide up and the arm rest folds down. I direct you to timestamp 31:21. I'd take a screnshot but i'm late for work. So the pilot is ALMOST in a standing position in Battroid mode.

They were power PLANTS (people who said they were trees....funny ) that grew a conscience and intelligence. I thought that was explained pretty well in the anime? Yes they were born from the plants in the ships.

Noooo!!! Where for art thou, Katoki??? Those suits are horrendous, IMHO. Oh...and now the impulse gundam's phase shift armour changes color with each pack eh?

The empire is founded around after Anakin becomes Vader. I'm guessing episode 3 is during the ending months of the Clone Wars and the eventual formation of the Empire. I think the movie will end with Anakin being Vader and that's where it ends. Y-wings and the Rebel Alliance will appear only during the gap between end of Ep3 and start of ep4, which is about say 16-18 years, which makes the Y-wing old. I doubt we'll see the Y-wing, unless its some secret brand new spanking fighter that Obiwan uses to escape or something.

It doesn't move 90 degrees upwards, maybe 50-60 degrees. The pilot is still tilted downwards, acccording to Mac Zero anyway. Pilot is still in the cockpit.

That devastator looks to have too many kibble all over it. Tracks....Mmmmm...niceee..... -
My theory, although not comprehensive, is the Birdman is actually a Protodeviln type monster. Protodeviln are "evil" by nature and kinda sucks life force out of things. Song of destruction probably kills everything alive, and the humans can't do crap about it. (like in Mac 7, the humans would be so pwned if it weren't for sound force) Then there's Rooy Kanu which I assume is a protoculture, micron. He would probably be the one who planted the seeds of evolution in men, and decided to stay on Mayan while waiting for his seeds to bear fruit. After a few million years, he probably decides to bonk one of the local inhabitants and thus Sara's ancestors were born. Rooy Kanu was revered as a God. But the birdman was also revered as a God....so this is even more confusing. To accomodate this , the next theory is the birdman is some sort of medium/device used to spread the evolution seeds into humanity. But at the same time, it can also destroy what it has created or reverse the effect for some reason, which I assume maybe it went haywire or got possesed by Protodeviln or as someone else said, a fail safe in case humanity's evolution didn't go according to plan. Rooy Kanu didn't want his hard work to go to waste and to defend humanity, he defeated the Birdman and chopped of its head and told the Mayan inhabitants of its danger and of its eventual return, but he was mortally wounded and died. Not sure if i told this theory before this.

Reminds me of the OP/movie for Macross VF-X. "Flyy awayy...fly awayyy....."

But theoretically, the XBOX specs aren't anywhere near the Doom 3 minimum requirements. So I wonder how they gonnna port that over.

I'm assuming from this thread since ppl know what they are talking about, the actual plot that Batman WAS murdered and Robin retired thing really did happened in the official comic books. (or something) But was the JL thing all just a thrown in or part of the story as well? Off Topic: And in fact, sorry for the stupid questions, is the JL just a kind of spin off or its an official storyline which crossovers all the universes of the individual heroes? Like IE: Superman decides to leave his little town to join the Justice League to fight crime etc. Same goes for Batman who does it part-time when he has nothing to do in good ol gotham. -
Its a Minmay Guard custom.

I'd probably find out later, but since i'm at work, how does the gauge increase in intensity?

Played Silent Hill 4 abit today. Its pretty cool. Dual language modes for English and Jap, which is only the info text. The dialogue is english in both modes. I like the monster designs in this sequel...they look really freaky. The combat mechanics hasn't improved, probably became worse IMHO. There is some kinda Stamina pie chart or something....when you use melee weapons. I only played it for 10 mins so far....will comment more later.

Ok...it was pretty cool in the beginning, but towards the end they just decided to throw in the Justice League? Wth? That's just so corny...unless they really did appear or something...... -

Very interesting. It seems the Powered Armour suits are already accepted as canon.
