1. No...see, we are all pretty familiar with all that, and while I don't get turned on by underage "anime-ish" girls, or gundam girls, I understand that they are popular. But even gundam girls are girls wearing mecha parts. This is girls with mecha parts...which is quite a different thing in my mind. Subtle difference maybe, but a large one nonetheless. This is just...well freaky and unsettling. I mean, you have to be strange to like your girls wearing mecha armor, you have to be certifiable to like your girls with hybrid aircraft legs. 381280 If you're easily freaked at this, i'm sure you haven't seen the variable (valkyrie?) girl. I've posted that kit somewhere here yonks ago but can't find the post. Viceland has it in his wishlist. Scroll down to the last few items. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...l=variable+girl Its a great sculpt IMHO though.
2. I saw the hilarious trailer for Subsistence. It looks like 3rd person Counterstrike with some level of roleplay involved. PS: Curious, how does paper box disguises work online?
3. "Nan Yate?!?!!?" Tsukino is cute.
4. Probably.....i think that TypeZero and theEnd are somehow linked to Eureka and Anemone respectively. TypeZero evolved because it has Renton and Eureka piloting it in sync....and theEnd.....maybe Dominic will get into it with Anemone later on. Imagine the possibilties of kinkiness with theEnd's cockpit. Theory: Since Eureka and Anemone is somewhat like messengers for the Corallians to better understand the humans, Eureka seems to be one who proves that humans are friends whereas Anemone is one who proves that humans are enemies and should be eliminated. So theEnd might really be a key to destroy the world whereas the TypeZero would allow Corallians and Humans to coexist.
5. Hence the "Pr-oTaku-KalChahhh" shock this thread seems to be generating. Its very normal in otaku kalchah to depict prepubescent girls in compromising positions, sexy clothes, and scantily clad mecha-girls no less. I'm quite surprised by the reactions posted on this thread actually since I assume most of MW-ers are quite Otaku-nised. I on the other hand find this tame and harmless compared to the many other fetishes out there like "Guro". (which someone here described to have a disturbing fascination with)
6. http://www.seibertron.com/media/commercial...%20Bonus%20Misc 380921 380944 Hey! At the end of that UK_TF Interview vid, they showed a TF commercial and it has Jetfire in Valkyrie form animated Right after Starscream transforms.
7. DUNno what they are. Found pic on 2chan.
8. BUMPITY BUMP! From ANN I thought there was some news from way back about Appleseed being a movie triology. And now they have an extra TV series. Well as long as its gonna be 2D.....

11. GAH! PROBLEM CONNECTING TO TRACKER! NOOOO!!
12. Then the trading figure version might be more to your liking?
13. 1) Yes. 2) No. The poachers were using modified VA-3Cs, which you can find in this pic: http://www.macrossworld.com/macross/books/shoji/page-9.jpg (hint hint: back on topic, please) The only VT-1 in MD7 was Graham's VT-1C...which you can see in episodes 1-3. 380864 Thanks Graham and Azrael...there was also one VT-1 that the poachers stole in the 1st episode, and the kid whatshername mentions they do it often. (incompetent planetary police) yes....back on topic!
14. Everything you'd ever want in a weekend? 0.o
15. The Macross Compendium has the following to say about the VF-5000 Star Mirage: - "Shinnakasu Heavy Industry and Stonewell Bellcom began their joint project of a general-purpose lightweight air superiority fighter designed for comparatively low mass production cost and simple maintenance in 2011. The design was based on the VF-1 Valkyrie's design with research on Zentradi technology. When the aerospace development divisions of both companies merged to form Shinsei Industry in 2012, the VF-5000 became the new company's first development project and mass-produced fighter. The fighter was mainly designed as a general-purpose lightweight support and air superiority fighter, and its roles expanded to include aggressor and trainer assignments after mass production ended. First flight 2018. Mass production of VF-5000 started 2020. Assumed the United Nations Forces' main fighter designation from the VF-4 (due to its lower costs) beginning in the later half of the 2020s until the VF-11 Thunderbolt's introduction. Mass production ends in 2029". The VF-5000 Star Mirage appears in the following productions: - Macross M3 for Dreamcast (VF-5000). Takes place during the years 2013 to 2030. Macross VF-X2 Special Edition for Playstation (VF-5000B). Takes place during the year 2051. Macross Dynamite 7 OVA (VF-5000G and VF-5000T-G). Takes place during the year 2047. Graham 380771 Thanks Graham. I supposed the VF-5000s were those valks that the Zola planetary patrol were using? Enemy valks were modded VT-1's i think.
16. Good idea. I say go for it. And 1 person 1 chance seems fair and easier to manage. If a person gets more to increase his chances, the money could grow faster than it takes to spend it. Any single person holding onto the money is a victim to public scrutiny on what he does with it.
17. Thanks for the scans, Graham. Interesting to note, the last page that shows all the VFs , there's no VF-1D. And where did the Starmirage appear or supposedly when does it appear in the timeline? VF-X?
18. I'm generally not too fond of Gonzo when it comes to their writers and directors. THey may have teh best graphics but their stories are paced weirdly and most of the time end adruptly. I'm quite surprised that GONZO is 15 years old though with Blue Submarine 6 as one of its first works, also chara designed by Murata.
19. Not sure what its gonna be about other than its gonna be a SF anime, and it has Range Murata as character designer. Perhaps its Last Exile in space. http://mardock.jp/menu.html
20. I could've sworn there was a thread about this some time ago. Hmm....anyway continuing the mecha musume line from the previous release, ME 109E, the MIG 60 is next in line. And these are the trading figures by Konami, series 2. http://www.konami.jp/th/figure/mecha2/index.html The designs are apparently based on some guy's work on 2chan.
21. Looks nice!
22. Its hereeeeeeeeeeeee...... Hory Froating Head at the back of the box. And the pic next to G1 prime really shows how small and detailed this baby is..... Pics thanks to devilman of play.
23. Not much i reckon for that price....hmmmm.
24. Spoiler!!! 380405 Same ere, around the same age too. Except i watched it on TV. I was like...wtf, everything was dying. How traumatic! "Till all....are one....." *dramatic music....Prime turns black* *Spike (or was it Daniel?) cries* *I cry*
25. I thought recruiting posters needed sexy pin-up girls, preferably with boobies? Sorry. Can't resist.
