After watching the trailer, i felt like digging up my AC Zero copy again. I continued playing AC Zero at hard level yesterday and dayum dodging missiles during the 2nd last mission in the valley was hell. As usual i get frustrated at bombing the V2 stuff in the base. GAH!

I dun really think Macross should go down the road of racial overtones either. I do find it odd that Zentradi were easily assimilated into human society in....what...20-30 years? But the whole racial card has been played too often. And i feel this makes Macross unique, that Zents were easily intergrated into human society probably due to their acceptance of culture and also the humans were more or less wiped out, so all the religious zealots and tyrants were already killed on earth.

Its not even a good example as the Gunbuster's double buster colliders are not necessarily deus ex machina. Why can't it have double buster colliders? The colliders on the legs were probably to be used when standing on a space monster or kicking it. Just happened when it was "pancaked" by 2 space monsters, they were able to deploy both buster colliders. Not that hard to believe no? And back to macross, i dun really mind if the new flagship doesn't transform into a giant humanoid. But it must have some form of "alternate mode" that it transforms to. Maybe a mode which opens up and deploys hundreds of valkyries instantaneously, or maybe a mode that reveals the main cannon(s) to be fired. If it HAS to be humanoid, well i can cook up some flavor: 1.) The ship is a colony ship and transforms into humanoid form when it finds a suitable planet to colonise. The teraforming machines located at the "legs" drill down into the planet's crust to change the eco-system from below. Leaving the upper torso above ground with the hands acting as planetary defence turrets. 2.) I'm probably gonna get lynched for suggesting this. The new macross is made up of smaller modular ships. A fleet of them. They can.....combine to form different configurations and firing modes. Some firing modes look more humanoid than others. The main reason for combining is to form a stable Full Barrier (as opposed to PPB) that covers the whole ship when all reactors are working together. When combined the ship can also make short distance folds instantaneously, appearing behind enemy lines, let off a whole salvo of destruction and folding out. Now....why not just stay combined? Because this stresses the reactors of the individual ships, so the new macross can only remain combined for a limited amount of time.

Sorry, what's this 65 nm thing? I'm not up to date with the whole "fix your xbox" scene. I am frustrated that despite not playing the damn thing much it died on me. i play less than 4 hours a week for chrissakes. I'm considering doing the X-clamp thing (which my shop does) which costs less than 10 USD, and apparently is a better fix than getting a new one. My warranty expires in 2 months anyway. Thoughts?

Hi guys. I officially have 3ROD-ed. This sucks. Group of 6 friends of mine, 5 of us have 3ROD-ed. 2 of them (who managed to persuade me to buy the 360) declared that they're giving up on the console and selling their stuff. I have the option of paying about 65 USD to get a brand new box from the shop i bought it from. The 65 USD is to cover shipping and taxes incurred for sending the xbox to Singapore for the shop to claim its warranty. The box is not even a year old. I'm considering to pay the money and sell the console off. I'm not gonna pay 65 USD everytime it breaks down. Its a shame really considering i am anticipating games like Halo 3, Fallout 3 and Bioshock.

Looks awesome. Though i'm kinda worried that the game is not as big as it could be being a 3D game and all.

A pilot named Lockon is piloting a sniper-type mech? You can't get as pretentious as that. The designs kinda remind me Super Robot Wars OG.

In retrospect, the Jade Phoenix series was quite inspirational. Aidan has been through crap all his life and regarded as "stravag" earlier on, and even when he earned his own unit, it was made up of freebirths and dishonored warriors. Poor guy. But his GAR-ness saves the day! Another Pryde gene goes into the genepool.

I read this thing in wiki that Kai Allard Liao is the only surviving mechwarriors with this ability. But there's no details WHAT THE **** this ability is. In wiki its mentioned a few times but nothing beyond "Phantom Mech ability is oh so uber". What IS it? Some kinda Newtype ability?

Very nice sketch T.V. You pretty much got the idea pinned down based on doodles. Those legs look too weird for me. Like gigantic sneakers or something.
