Which makes him special in itself Rideback's pretty good, but I heard it deviated somewhat from the manga. I liked the story it tell's from Rin's side but the whole terrorist angle thing was kinda iffy. Its not like a buncha ride armours could turn the tide of a war or anything, i felt. Voices was what made Makoto Shinkai famous and opened him up to produce feature length anime movies. Yes Voices was a one man show done on his iMac G4. Impressive actually. Baccano was awesome.

That was a very moving letter. Thanks for sharing. May he rest in peace. His works will continue to inspire us, left behind.

Just finished the 1s movie for Break Blade/Broken Blade. Really entertaining stuff! If you liked Escaflowne, BB will be for you. In BB everyone can use "magic" which is the ability to levitate/move a crystal called quartz, which is used in everything from their guns, machines, transportation and of course, mecha. Then we have our hapless protagonist who is a freak of nature who can't use magic for some reason. Then of course his country gets attacked by some neighbouring country's superior spec-ops mecha and he gets thrown into some ancient junk mecha which he , surpise surprise, only he can pilot. The junk mecha seems to be using electronics from this era, and from a time when its pilot didn't need magic to use it. There are various clues thrown in the 1s movie hinting that the world might be which makes this a very promising show to follow. Can't wait for the next episode/movie.

Wasn't Ting supposed to be the reincarnation of Tien later on or something? Heck i thought Tien died at the end of Ong Bak 2. Thai films should stick to the horror genre, and even that's kinda hit and miss.

You can only gain the tech points u missed out and for achievements. You need to finish the campaign and start a new one to get money all over again. I'm not sure if the upgrades from the last game stay with you in the new game or not but i think not. For now i'm trying to complete all the Hard achievements.

I hate it that you would have to play the Campaign 10 or more times before you can get all the Research and Mercenary achievements. Apparently if you want to do it the easy way, collect up to enough cash and go research a single track to gain the achievement, reload ,rinse and repeat. Or you can do Liberation of Mars Sara (1s mission) a few times, and research what you need and reload.

I felt so too but only because I watched the 1s season thinking that there wasn't ever going to be a season 2. It felt like no closure and pacing was off. How does season 1 compare to the manga?

Just finished the game.... I don't know....the missions don't quite feel epic enough.....probably because its the 1s of a triology of games when the real sh*t hits the fan
