  1. Okay, since we all agree on the ZOE toys, is there any way of transmitting Kaiyodo our requests for figures?
  2. Revoltechs are damn addictive. You can get a wide variety of anime licenses in toy form for cheap and they're great toys also: nicely sculpted, ultra poseable, tight and fun. It's very hard for me to stay away from licenses I don't even care about because the toys are so neat, but if I don't restrain myself, I'll end up eating away all my money for toys I've never played the game, but I've seen models of the mecha and all the game's movies in Youtube, so I know what is about. I should give it a shot. Too bad is so short, but I don't have much time to play videogames anyway
  3. I have a big lot of Patlabor Revos on the way: Griffon, Helldiver, Ingram, Zero, you name it. I'm not much of a Patlabor fan, but I love the mecha, so the Revoltechs are perfect for me. I hope we see a line of Zone of the Enders mecha soon.
  4. Maybe we can get Yamato to make some vehicles and crew to go with the Ingram. At 1/24 scale, that should be a no brainer. Besides, that way Patlabor fans won't have to spend a fortune chasing down the CMs'.
  5. I just noticed two small holes on the YF-21's "shield", for the FPs I guess.
  6. It's just that some ppl don't like left over parts that can get lost. I can understand that. I'll try to snap the struts back and if I don't like it I might try and store them somewhere in the bike. In a Mospeada doujin posted in these forums a while back, the artist came up with a very interesting solution: the front shocks stay connected to the arm armor and the main body running along the the pilot's arm, giving him extra strength on the arms, like a powered armor. It looks pretty cool, maybe the MH Ride Armor can be customized to do that also.
  7. I thought the same thing.
  8. Kinda off topic, but I just found this while looking for 1/24 stuff for comparsion. Looks like a Patlabor inspired B movie in the making: www.morav.net/ gallery.html Anyway, can we expect for the pilot figures to have any articulation on the Yamato labors? Graham?
  9. It's not true
  10. What sold me on the MH's on the first place was the matte finish (a must for a military mecha IMHO) and the attention to detail on the figures faces an the whole bike. The purple visor is not a let down for me, the lack of PT isn't either. The original design isn't PT anyway, but anime magic ahoy, and we've never seen a PT Ride Armor toy, in the Yamato VF sense, so screw the PT on these. The small tire bothers me to no end, but perhaps this delay means Mega House is revising that. One can only hope.
  11. Dude, mecha tastes are one thing but Mac2 is empirically bad! I have the DVD and the story is so boring I could never even finish it. I guess I could check it out right now, but I rather waste my spare time on these boards than take a look at it. Yes, I think it's THAT bad. Edit: Oh, and I too want my 1/60 PT VF-2ss, Bandai. Thanks.
  12. Yeah, It's a tough call. I wish MH just delayed the release to fix the tires.
  13. I bet the rims are the same as the first two releases, as most of the bike is. I'm more worried about the feasibility of recasting rubber tires, or the cost of it, but the beefier tires makes the bike looks so perfect, almost as if it was a whole new bike. More muscular and aggressive, so much closer to the lineart. At one point I was considering buying some cheapo 1/12 Ninjas and salvage the tires. Edit: Spellig as always.
  14. Yeah, I meant Preorders, sorry.
  15. Don't forget the tires!
  16. They seem to be doing quite good despite the flaws. Apparently Stig's are sold out everywhere, so there's a chance for a second release and even better: for another company to make larger scale ones!
  17. For those in the know: Do you think it's possible that MH releases a second batch with the bigger wheels? I'm seriously considering to cancel my preorder, since I was never too pleased with the bike and after seeing Yellow's I just can't stand the tiny wheels. Edit: Spelling.
  18. Hang it from the roof. I still have lots of space there.
  19. You sound like quite the peyote authority, Hiriyu
  20. Yeah, too much of a gamble. I wouldn't mind the waiting if I could be sure that it will happen. 19 inches is roughly the height of the Hot Toys Power Loader including the antennae. Just a tad higher than my old AT-AT, so it's not that far fetched. I agree that the transformation would rocket the price, but then again we have people here considering getting a half meter Minmay doll that goes for 560 dollars!
  21. How tall would be a Legioss for these figures? It would never occur to me to dream of a Legioss at this scale, but since the 1/6 Powerloader I think everything is possible. At least we should get the rest of the gang and an Inbit or two to flesh out the line. I really like these figures.
  22. My thoughts exactly.
  23. I thought of the same scene, except that the transformer building idea was from the evil wise a$$ executive and Tom Hanks was fiddling with it with a "WTF?" expression and says something like: "Can you guys do a plane or an insect that transforms into a robot, because a building is kinda lame".
  24. I'm skipping these and the GN-Us. Too much larger scale stuff coming up.
