Every plastic toy ever has those marks. Some are just more or less prominent--depends on the factory worker who removed the parts from the sprue.

I was mainly thinking about colors---we rarely even got helmet shots in the series IIRC. Who knew they had blue boots?

Is that the first time we've ever really had a good idea what the flight-suit for a non-EX VF-171 looks like? PS---only 3 "no steps" on the wings? That shouldn't be hard to remove on the undersides.

I love how Paypal tries to "warn" you against using a different exchange rate (like your credit card's), not mentioning how theirs is consistently the worst option.... PS---MasterCard posts their exchange rate for every currency every day at their site.

I should have waited to pay---could have gotten about 1.5% better exchange rate.

Hmmm. Armor color is almost impossible to tell there. Mostly purple/navy with some grey segments? Was Alto's armor all navy or did it have some grey on the chest and lots on the gun?

It can happen in real life, actually. Some planes have symmetrical parts.... (Never an entire wing though)

Offical word on how NY's preorder Yen exchange rate system works&#
David Hingtgen replied to Gakken85's topic in Toys
All depends what the exchange rate was when you ordered---for me, the change was about 20 bucks. -

Heck no, it's Supreetor 2.0. Big means simple with lots of electronics. Basically--as budgets increase, it all goes to size and gimmicks. Not complexity and paint apps. Hasbro has shown this time and again. Look at Leader Jetfire. One of the biggest alt-modes ever , and one of the biggest electronics boxes ever.- 18306 replies

I always like the real-world schemes: 1st page, bottom. VFA-81 Sunliners. (esque) 3rd page, top. VF-33 Starfighters. 4th page, bottom. Compass Ghost. (F-15)

Hey, they've got pre-orders for the reissue renewal Alto, too---for 10 yen less than N-Y.

I'd call them khaki green. Greener than a VF-1A, but tan-er than a VF-27B The 1/250 looks right to me.

Eh, my fanon says fold quartz is like kryptonite---comes in every color, some are just more common than others.

In short, the pale green -25's pilot is almost universally the least-liked pilot of the series, and probably epitomizes much of what you don't like in recent anime/Frontier. He's got a unique valk, but you'd actually probably like/want it less if you knew the pilot.

After the turtles themselves and Shredder, Splinter's the next guy. I'd honestly consider him more important than April.

Until today, I never knew the VF-171EX was "DYRL grey". Anyways--I do think Hikaru's ret-conned VF-1 looks a lot cooler in fighter mode. And I like it.

A lot of people don't even realize there IS printing on the wings etc, because it's white ink on white plastic. Bandai sure showed their brilliance there.
