Best Buy has the Essential Collection Volume 1 for $12.99. Not a bad deal considering you get 9 episodes for that price.

I just watched the fansub. The last ep, just like the rest of the series, was not my cup of tea. Had Macross not been in the title, I would have not watched any eps after the first. I will watch the Original, Plus and pretend the rest has never happened. I am sticking with the earlier theory......

Only 5 people? LOL! I don't come here for the Macross crowd. I come here to hang out with Mospeada, Orguss and SC guys in the "other" forum. Robotech is not my cup of tea. I don't think it is to most of the people posting in this thread either......... I think it is too bad that the people who do care can't have a discussion without having to argue with the people who don't really care. If they want to use those designs, fine. I know what the real Mospeada and SC are about. Maybe if the show goes over well, I can "rip away the Robotech packaging and have some cool Mospeada and SC toys to play with."

Bah! Transformer boards are just as bad as these boards..... People who think G1 bricks are the best versus people who think the new figs are better. Bah! Both lines have good and bad figs. My favorite part is all the closet Beast Wars fans. They all hated BW when it came out. Now they say it is the best TF show storywise to date. Oh well............ Bigbot.com......... That place needs some serious moderation. One guy tries to have total control of the board. It is too much work for one person. There are also a few people there that need to be banned. The mod/owner won't ban them for some reason. These people call others names or use personal insults when in disagreement. Brave behind the puter but how are they in real life. Oh well............

I think they both have their plusses and minuses. I think it is great that an alternate version exists. I prefer the old school one.

Taka and Hasbro work together. They are in the Transformer business together. Toynami and Yammi don't work together but seem to build equally craptacular toys. Bandai should be the only company allowed to build Valks/Veris..... I prefer the all plastic less fragile Alternators. No paint chips either. Sorry 2 posts thought of more....

I am more interested in Yuki then M0. I think it would be interesting to be able to compare the animation in both using "official" releases. So far i am pushing Yuki as better. It has a 'different' story too. You have my Yuki support! Unless the end sucks or it goes wierd like M0. Then I will flip flop.

I like my beer out of a bottle and my toys all plastic. Taka/Hasbro has shown the same toy can be made out of plastic and be great. I don't like paint chips, I don't like weak joints but I especially don't like toys that break easily because of plastic and diecast being used together. I think it is too bad that Toynami doesn't go more plastic to cut down their costs and breakage. Taka Hasbro did it and the cost was cut in half.
