i thk there is another angle in comparison...the fact that yf-19 is a proper lead mech in a beloved ova, whilst the other is a 5-sec? appearance that came out of nowhere....just felt it was in there just for bandai to sell a 19 version....
should you not have the 19 variant yet....i would go with the yf-19 just because of the spirit of Mplus.

the red reflectors on the nose are too thin! and should be dark red not vermillion! noooo.......

I thk even the old yamato vf-0a wasnt anime accurate in colors (the black stripes on wings/arms)...guess its a toss up which one you wanna get or upgrade...

can i ask the guru's... it looks like white stripes across the arms are anime accurate? (ending scenes where shin meets sara via naked valk)
this is opposed to roy's which has black stripes...

really brings out the differences in head sculpt doesnt it...precival looking more brutish with the shoulders whilst the 30 looks more nimble...
Love those leg comparisons the intakes on the percival and the muscular 30 looking like he is gonna start kicking soon...

Strobes, nice! I don't have much room for a lot of lighting gear, so I have to get creative.
Its very much creative, your light falloff onto the valks and background are nicely done..thumbs up...

Its inspiring me to photograph my purchases instead of just displaying em..perhaps i need to invest in some strobes...additional wallet struggle of valks vs strobes

I like the v0a shin color scheme so far ..it would be something different amongst the valks ...
A valk with light grey/blue naval fighter colours with only a dash of dark blue area...i dont think there is another valk close to it in that color scheme if am not mistaken....

but from what I saw, the 0s uses metal parts for these so it should have no problem

Does the reactive armor only come in one color? Hopefully, it does so there wouldn't be a need to buy 1 each for the 0A and 0S. I can just have one and switch it around between the 2.
I dont know if i can even afford 1 reactive armor let alone 2...

I do like the reactive armour design but from a toys perspective, i wonder how much weight those skinny bicep/triceps can take...
the pads on both forearms are long and big...

Designed by T-Rex, should be good. Also seems like a completely separate release which makes sense, a gift-set would be like $550 by current Arcadia pricing.
The price is something not looking forward to

haha thats a dangerous feeling around these parts(ie forums) ...
Tho what are the chances this mold would be come the Mold that the next gen would say that was a classic toy....so far it looks like hitting the right design proportions begging for more color variants and should the reactive armour be released would make it even better...
I di admit m biased cos i like m0 designs that have to charm and identity of the vf-1s due to their logical timeline placing but yet have the blessing of time to evolve into a more refined versi on of the vf-1s....

would WB spend big bucks on a trilogy for an 80s cartoon's....cough cough...
(btw transformers went downhill after blackout made his supa-dupa transformation...) imho only am sure it appeals to other trans fans..

From a display/collection perspective it would make some sense. There is always the pull factor or charm of the toy itself.
Sure, visually some may like the extra tampo/boosters but over time that excitement may fade, whilst you may pick out the YF out of your display again just to try drawing that dragon in the sky.
Plus if arcadia releases an updated YF-21, i think the YF-19 would definately hold the edge over the advanced.
Displaying the advanced against a YF-21 doesnt quite have the same kick.
Am not saying design and engineering arent important, however there is that certain appeal of a toy that may play a role as well.
Deep thinking aside, i didnt like how the boosters looked attached to the legs in battaroid mode/or how fidgety it was to transform, so i would choose the arcadia for its hassle free play.
