haha nice. Reminded me of how I imagined Oni wan and anakin's relationship prior to the prequels. I had wished anakin to be more mature and on par with Obi-Wan, before being corrupted. And that obi wan really didn't have R2 as his droid b4. Oh well, enough said.

New Edwards Test Flight Center sounds like it.... I am on the liking it camp! Something like kaneda's bike tampo with all them logo's and such.... Ah memories of my old f-16 kit built with the big USAF letters...painted it with watercolor too! And the color is still there after 30 odd years!

Yeah unless the customisation is top notch, i would say customisations are subjective. (not knocking the customiser) Some may like it and some may not. Plus some may want to do their own customs instead thus the need for a vanilla valk...

And to why MB gundams sell out , that's just down to subjective taste (cutting edge design, etc), or you could argue more marketing on gundam. Or the fact that its a mecha and made of metal! I for one do enjoy gundam, but would say i treasure my valks more. Macross will be the last to go in a firesale..

I do get bahamutzyro's point, that in not supplying more it in itself becomes opportunity missed and sales lost. My point is in that its no skin off bandai's back. They don't want to be giving the impression that there will always be a 2nd wave. Since these are toys and not necessities, demand may not be there the 2nd time around. We can speculate all we want, but unless we work in bandai, we can never b sure why there are limited stocks of macross. Whether its a purposeful strategy, limitation or difficulty in forecasting on bandai's part. And therefore the how to solve it can never quite be addressed IMO.

Second runs are a bad habit to cultivate, due to deflationary effects. It will cause a wait and see approach (when expectations are set), and opens chances alternative purchases will lure folks away, while waiting for 2nd runs. In a way, not closing the deal when you can.

lets see...i think the yammie weathered was at August 2010, 24, 990 Yen, YF-19 Isamu Custom Weathering Edition (3rd edition) as per jenius site...so add 8 years..and more tampo....hmmm....
