I have so many versions on VHS I don't remember what did and what didn't come out anymore... Well word is that not only is Lucas refusing to release the original trilogy as we know and love them, but when they do finally come out on DVD, it'll have those additional and updated scenes. He also refuses to release the SE edition we saw in the theatre right before Ep.1 came out...

Roy's death also makes the viewer realize their investment in these wonderfully crafted characters. I was watching the series over with my nephew, who is 7, and I wasn't sure if I should have shown him that episode. After much deliberation, I decided to go ahead and let him see it. He was a greatly saddened, but he but his interest and understanding became more complex after that episode. His questions became more intuitive beyond 'why do they have such big hair?' He actually learned the difference between each type of VFs, when Hikaru started piloting the skull. In the end I'm glad, because he asked what happened to the 1J and why Hikaru was flying Roys Valkyrie, which meant I had to reveal Roy's death anyway...

Remember the faces of those 2 guys that looked into the cockpit? (Maybe I'm not remembering this correctly either) But I seem to recall these 2 guys that looked in and it seemed pretty obvious he left a lot of blood in there. But oh well... like they say... It's better to burn out, than to fade away... unless you're Kakizake.

I have the same basic feel about this movie as the Major... but on the remote possibilty that this project was somehow done right, it could be one of the most awesome flicks ever. But there's no way in hell that they would try for an R rating with it being largely linked on a toy line... which any good present day war movie pretty much has to be.

SAw it... Crapula vs. Queerwolves... I thought I would change my mind about Kate Beckinsdale after this movie, but she just doesn't do it for me. Nice costumes on the chicks... but that's all... I agree with Ben-MAn, took him 10 minutes to turn into that?!? It looks like he swam in a public restroom and came out blue.

I can't see how you can make smaller 1/48 boxes they use up all the space possible. And I'm all for stronger boxes, but not if it costs more (which it probably would.) Now the Elint and the Ostrich boxes... that's just ridiculously big. plenty of unused space. They don't even have missles, do they? The Elint has that big radar, but it's so thin they could have put it somewhere else in the box. Oh well, I guess I'll take more clothes out of the closet, I couldn't fit into them anymore anyway...

Honestly... as Batman, I would have chosen Dylan McDermott. Tobey Wang... Tobey Wong... Tobey McGuire was good as Peter Parker, but I would have made Mary Jane... Jessica Biel. Just give her that zig zag hair Mary Jane has... But F'n A', if your making a Spider-Man origin flick, you put in Gwen Stacy.

I guess the least you can do is go for it until Chrisb tells you to stop... if that's what it takes to get him out of hiding...

Bale's good enough. Better than the last 3. I like Michael Keaton, but not as Bruce Wayne. And I'm not a big fan of Tim Burton. Chris Nolan had a forum not too long ago in UCLA where he screened the original theatrical release of BladeRunner. He said he was going to use that film as a guideline for how his Batman interpretation should be. I always thought Ridley Scott would have been the perfect Bat-director, now let's see it from someone who claims to emulate him.
