  1. Also, most Bollywood films tend to focus on the colonial period of India (with the Indians usually triumphing over the Brits in some way).

Brit - "I claim India for Britain!"

Indian - "You can't claim us, we live here!. 500 Million of us!."

Brit - "Do you have a flag?"

    Hehe!!

    Eddie Izzard rules!!!!

  2. The last game I tried to play an FPS on a friend's PC was Quake III and it was overcomplicated, the missions were annoying, I got bored with it real quick.

I wonder why you thought Quake III was so complicated? If you've deathmatched before, that's pretty much what Q3 is - straight up DM.

I WAS looking forward to FINALLY being able to play Halo (St00pid Microsoft!) But after trying the demo, I was a little underwhelmed. I decided against purchasing it. Granted, I didn't try the mulitplayer aspect, but Halo is a resource pig. Maybe when I can upgrade to a better system, I may consider getting it and trying the multiplayer component. I am a PC gamer who understands the appeal of Halo in mulitplayer.

If you're willing to pick up Quake 3 again, check out this mod:

    Painkeep Arena

There is a bit of a learning curve to the mod, but it makes Quake 3 a bit more fun.

  3. BeeeeeeyyyyyoooooooootttttiifffffuuuullllllllL!!!!!!!!!!

Very, very nice looking model. I really dig the weathering on the landing gear.

I hope you will consider continuing to share your work with us Viperbite.

    Thanks for the amazing pics.

    B))

  4. Ok.......just watched it.

    wtf?

I really wish that they'd spent some more time planning things out. I guess I can chalk up some things to the usual "anime magic"..........but is that what Kawamori-san and crew had in mind?

The fight scenes were very cool of course.

But I feel very let down.

  5. Bah, not impressed with the dub...does CN ever show anything subbed?

I don't think that'd be a popular choice for anyone 'cept an otaku purist.

It'd be cool if they did and showing a series like that late at night, you'd also think that they would be able to show something un-edited. I haven't seen the dub of GITS:SAC so I am curious to see what they are like.

  6. As they say in Boston.  or in Mass generally, at least when I was stationed there...

    PISSA

Think that oughta be "Wicked Pissa!"

    B))

The streets in Boston were pretty crazy last night. I was safely away from it all in Somerville. I am still processing that they finally won for once.

For JsArclight - I'm a fairweather fan meself, but they have a habit of blowing it (or had a habit?) I was still sure that something could come along and break this streak. I am glad that the Sox held it together and stayed strong.

  7. "Sekushii na biggu monsuta!"

The nice thing about the Simple2000 series is that the games are cheap, and often feature girls in bikinis. The downside to the Simple2000 series is that the gameplay is usually crap. Well, you get what you pay for, right?

Sounds like its the cousin (albeit the twisted cousin) to all the Tycoon games that I see on the store shelves. That is hilarious though! And even the bikini grows!

    Hehe!!!!

  8. Games that never get old................

I used to always have Quake installed. Now I have Quake 3 always installed as I am constantly playing Painkeep Arena. One the best mods EVAR!!!

I recently re-installed Tiberian Sun and am revisiting some of favorite mods for the game. Always fun to blow stuff up.

  9. Screw those. I want a Hasegawa VF-11. I want a Hasegawa VF-11. I want a Hasegawa VF-11.

    AMEN BROTHER!!!!!!

It's about flippin' time that Hasegawa made a VF-11.

However, I love the VF-0D! Looks very cool. Just have to figure out how to afford one or two at the moment...............
