Misspelled Akihabara!
Gah.
-
Just saw this at Gizmodo:
-
That Strike Freedom looks like it'll be pretty cool.
-
Nice! You don't see those Southern Cross kits very often anymore.
-
I have been wondering what became of this project. Nice to know that you're still working with it! It looks really cool!!
I am very much looking forward to the finished product!
-
I figured............
I don't spend enough time here anymore.............too much Real Life happening.
-
Just saw this at HLJ:
I don't know if this has been brought up already, but apologies if it has. Each page pulls out and is coded and cross referenced and hole punched!
And there is an Offical binder to boot!
-
GA Graphic has bigger pics of the CAD renders, you can actually see some of the surface details
Cool pics. Anyone know anything about the ad for the Variable Fighter Master File publication?
Looks cool.

New Battletech computer game!!!!!!
YAY!!!!!
I am soooooo happy that it won't be set after the whole jihad nonsense. Back to the third succession war! I am soooooooooo looking forward to this!!
It'll be interesting to see if multi CPU/GPU support in implemented. If the environment is truly destructible, etc, then the system I am currently building should be good.
Just wish I could afford Core i7!!
-
Nice! It looks much better without the standard color scheme.

Over the last couple of years, I have been digging surf rock more and more. Just re-upped at Emusic.com and discovered The Surf Report, Los Tiki Phantoms, The Surf Zombies and Lost Acapulco. Also, got some Bad Brains and 7 Seconds for some old school punk.

Thanks for posting the pics Lone Wolf. I think the color is amazing PetarB, so I wouldn't worry about things too much.
How are things progessing?
-
That looks awesome PetarB!!! I look forward to the continued progress. By the way, that BClub includes a fold out that shows that VF-2SS from the side, top, front and back and bottom I think......I'll check to make sure. Haven't looked through it for a bit.

If we're going that route, theres only one member of the Top Gear cast I would like to see in the TARDIS.
Some say that he bites the heads off life-size jelly babies...
Some say that hes bigger on the inside...
...all we know is...
The Stig would be f'n awesome as the Doctor!!!!
LOL!!!!!

I think I watched the first episode of this series on SciFi last night. I saw Mobile Suit Gundam in the program listings and thought maybe it was the first series. I was pleasantly surprised to see it's the most recent Gundam series. I look forward to watching this one all the way through.

I've been a fan of The Supersuckers for a couple of years now. If they come to your town, I highly recommend seeing them. They are excellent showmen and their music is awesome. Go to The Supersuckers. They have a new album coming out near the end of this month and there are free downloads at their site.

Bump
I can provide you with a whole kit if you want. Although, I could probably part with just the decals.
Drop me an e-mail at dbrown223@gmail.com.
I have SEVERAL Hasegawa valk kits. I got a little carried away.............
EDIT IN: I no longer have any other decal sheets available. Thanks.

I'm guessing that by 3D they mean silly glasses as was mentioned before.
It will be interesting to see where this goes.

For Neal Stephenson - I would highly, highly recommend Snow Crash. This is by far, my favorite book hands down. The way the Metaverse is presented is very close to what Second Life offers.
I have long been a fan of William Gibsons work. Neuromancer is a scifi classic that should be apart of anyones book collection. I've enjoyed all that I have read. I am looking forward to reading Spook Country once I have some time.
-
Didn't realize that this was old news.
My apologies.
Nice motivational posters Stardragon!!! I do like how the valks transform to battroid mode when firing.
-
Just stumbled across this mod at moddb.com. You will need CNC Generals: Zero Hour to use it. Just install the files directly into your Zero Hour folder.
All your favorite valks are there, as are the destroids. The SDF-1 is your command center and there is an option to build the Macross 7.
Also, you'll hear Macross themed music! The VT-1 Super O's are the resource gatherers. The models aren't that highly detailed, but it is fun to be able use the mecha from the series.
The mod also includes two Gundam themed generals.
Go here: http://www.moddb.com/games/184/campc-gener...ef&type=def
Having some trouble creating the link, just copy and paste the above link into your browser.
edit in: Now that I've had some time to spend with this mod, it is a little buggy. I couldn't build a strategy center and skirmish AI isn't very aggressive.
Also, the game minimized itself and I couldn't get back into it.
Odd.

I like the pic of the Mave stuck to the tree.
"The elusive, secretive Mave butterfly, native to parts of southern Japan......"
-
Excellent custom you have there!
I have 3 of the 1/144 VF-11s and two of the VF-19s. I do like the scale of those Bandai kits. I have yet to actually build anything though.
How difficult was it to add the fast packs to the VF-11? I was thinking that I'd like to do that.
Would you mind posting side view of the VF-11?

That has ALWAYS been one of my favorite Macross type pictures!! The VF-11 looks very cool in flanker colors!
