Shout out to Capt Hungry for hooking me up! Updates will be forthcoming.

I finally put out a VF-1A version 1 that I've had for years. It was my first Yammie and will be the only one shortly. I would say that my favorite anime related toy without a doubt is my Unifive God Phoenix!

If Spacemonkey hasn't gotten back to you, I know I have at least one VF-1A kit still. Let me know if you need the parts still.

Beautiful work Soul Assassin and Rafe!! I love the livery colors on those C-130s. Very cool.
-
Wow!! That is AMAZING!
I saw something on the Discovery Channel one time about the place where that is, but it didn't really show the airport piece. I'd love to see that in person sometime.
-
Wow! Just realized that I never saw the finished product. Amazing, amazing work!!

Still waiting for your response. Thank you.
My sincere apologies. *bows deeply* Life was a little nuts this past week. I replied to your PM!
Shaorin - replied to you too.

Shameless bump.

Gwfalcon - if Nukatsuka should change his mind, you'd be next in line. Thanks for the interest!
Matchbox jokemachine is the one without diecast right?
You would be correct! The only metal appears to in the wheels for the landing gear and I think a couple of screws holding the JM together.

Hi guys. I have some 1/72 scale Hasegawa models available. I've decided to also include the VE-1 and VT-1 as I am not likely to build them (or anything I have). I would be willing to trade either one for a VF-11 if anyone has an extra one. I'll even throw in another model if you are willing. Shipping will be extra. Tell me where you live and I can figure out shipping. I am on the Straight Shooters list, so please know I am reliable. I have some other items that I will post in a couple days. Feel free to message me here or email me at dbrown223@gmail.com. Thanks for looking!
8/28/11 EDIT IN: I have added some additional models and lowered the price on the artbooks.
Hasegawa models
1 VF-1A Super Valk - $20
5 VF-1S - $12
5 VF-1A - $12
ARII 1/100 scale $4 per kit
4 Battroid models
1 Max Type Batroid
4 VF-1A Valkyries
1 VF-1S Valkyrie
3 VF-1J Valkyrie
1 1/170 VT-1D $1
1 1/170 VF-1J $1
BANDAI
1 1/100 VF-1J Millia Type Valkyrie $15
1 1/144 VF-19 Kai Fire Valkyrie $4
Set of 3 This Is Animation Macross art books. I believe these to be original printings and they've resided in either a box or a bookshelf since I had owned them. I just don't look at my art books much anymore. $10 a piece or $30 for the set.

There is a Japanese version of Battletech, but as far as I know, there's only a sourcebook. The mech designs are VERY different compared to what you see in Classic Battletech.
To wit: Japanese Battletech
Those are the only "custom" designs that I am aware of. Dunno how much exposure BT had/has in Japan.

You're both welcome! I stumbled across the Concept Ships site by accident and now I usually visit it at least once a week. There is some very cool stuff to look at. The imaginations of the artists are quite amazing.
-
Dunno if any of you know about the Concept Ships blog. There is some really cool concept scifi art that is broken into categories for vehicles, ships, robots and tanks. The banner for the month of July is a concept ship for the Yamatoverse. There is also about 9 to 10 pics of other concept ships done up in the style of the Yamatoverse. The pics that are included are very, very cool and there is lots of detail in each pic. When you get to the link, just scroll down a bit. The artwork changes every couple days.
Also mentioned at the top is another blog that also contains more Yamato concept art: Lighthouse
Thought all the Yamato fans here would appreciate seeing this stuff. If this was mentioned in the past, please forgive me.

Snow Crash, bu Neal Stephenson is hands down, my favorite book of all time. It's a great sci-fi novel, but it also imagines a United States that could be possible. Plus, in this virtual universe age, it's quite fitting. The characters are believable and the author has a kind of irreverent style. It's thoroughly enjoyable. I would also recommend most of William Gibsons books. Neuromancer (of course!), Mona Lisa Overdrive, Count Zero, Virtual Light, Idoru and All Tomorrow's Parties are tied together in two separate trilogies.

Hi, Capt Hungry here. I am on the Straight Shooters list and generally lurk these days due to Real Life. I have some Hasegawa and Bandai models available. Also, I have some art books and a Gundam model book for sale. I will ship within the US and Canada only. I don't have a Paypal account, but postal money orders, bank checks and personal checks are acceptable. Shipping for the books will be a bit more as they tend to be heavier. I will charge shipping based on your location. Please PM me if you have any questions.
