  1. Just read back a couple pages here............I was looking at my BGC Bclub special last night and the cannon that comes with the motoslaves is shorter than I remember. At least according to the lineart. I am going to have to go back and look a little closer.

Hope these do make it to production.

  2. If that does have an english track, it'd be worth picking up. I am hoping that one of these days I will find an art book for Yukikaze.

I really dig the aircraft in this series. I'd like to get a closer look at the larger cargo aircraft sometime.

Here's to hoping that I can find this in the states!

    B))

  3. Question for you tech-types. Every now and then my computer will refuse to load up any sort of imbedded video file (YouTube, GameTrailers, etc.) and might not even load the page itself. I'll leave it for a few hours and suddenly everything is back to normal. This is most frustraiting and I could use some help. I'm using the stock IE 7 that comes with Vista, though I've disable the phising filter in the vain hopes that this would solve the problem.

Check and make sure that you the latest version of Macromedia Flashplayer installed and that Java is up to date.

I had that problem recently and that fixed it for me.

  4. ok, I made these back in February after I made my cast wishlist for Metal Gear. Looking at it now, I'd Swap in Eva Green instead of Millla Jovovich. And I'd swap out Gwyneth, but i'm not sure with who yet.

if this movie does get made, i'm really interested who ends up being cast versus what I came up with.

also, if they are planning on a trilogy, i'd like to see them split the Macross saga into the 1st and 2nd movie, it's too big to try and cram into 2.5 hours. Just skip Southern Cross completely IMO.

    Sebastian Bach in drag!!!!

    LOL!!!!!!!

You really put a lot of thought into that, wow! Nice choices too.

I walked out of the Transformers movie thinking MAYBE now other giant robot themed sci fi might appear. The Battletech universe has such a deep history that it would make for a bunch of decent movies. Robotech Live action.........I have mixed feelings about that. But I it can't be any worse than something like Starship Troopers.

  5. I too, just saw this today and it is definitely one the cooler movies I have ever seen.

Yeah, there were plot holes, not enough of the transformers, blah, blah............for sheer entertainment value alone, WOW!

It almost gives me hope that other giant robot genres could almost be well done. I do agree, a VF-1S would be pretty kick ass.

  6. I finally got to see half a dozen of these Revoltech figures this past weekend. They are smaller than I thought, but the detailing is pretty decent. I almost picked up the Dangaioh, but need to wait until I've moved.

I was hoping they'd have the Dougram too, but only a Grifon.

  7. I've heard the same version about the Wachowski sex change. It was said that Matrix two and three were made just to raise the money

And I think that is why the second two Matrix movies were so bad.

I agree with WWWMWWW, they should've left the Mach 5 the way it was in the series. I like the wider rounder shape. The one pic that was posted looks more like an 80's Vette that was converted.

  8. According to IMDB the Wachowski brothers are doing this movie. No actors are listed yet however.

    Dont'cha mean the Wachowski twins?

One of em' was undergoing a sex change last I'd heard.

I watched Speed Racer back in the 70's when I was all of 7. It was very, very cool for me at the time. I watched SR back in the late 80's and it only then that I realized how campy and cheesy it truly is.

  9. I met a guy in Florida who scratchbuilt a large scale replica of the USS Forrestal that was also featured in Fine Scale Modeler. It was just phenomenal seeing it in person. He keeps it in his garage oddly enough, since I think I remember him saying that no one seemed to want it for a museum.

The Enterprise is very cool. That site that it's featured on seems to have other scratchbuilt carriers.
