  1. I've already ditched mine. Having learned about the optional Rodimus face on FansToys' "Hoodlum," he will now represent my CHUG Rodimus Prime.
  2. They're not upside-down, I was just being facetious. They merely look upside-down, 'cause we're used to the geometry of the FAST packs.
  3. Are those micro-missile pods upside-down deliberately, Noel?
  4. Lots of new Transformers this week! Azalea is really compact in vehicle mode -- typical HasTak deluxe, basically. She turns into a surprisingly tall robot, though... Skinny, but graceful. And she passes my biggest criteria for any Arcee figure: She can cross her legs.
  5. Yeah, Mothra's a big bug. New Transformers!
  6. Once the offensive tampo is removed, the no.1 spot is easy: No.2 is difficult... but definitely one of these: No.3 glows-in-the-dark!
  7. Scales great with TomyTec N-gauge train accessories, that one.
  8. Mr. Color lacquers, almost exclusively. They mix well, dry quickly, and are easily thinned.
  9. That's Hikky's a pain in the ass to paint, but he cleans up nice.
  10. With all the new Masterpiece Primes coming out, this recent IDW-style re-release isn't getting the attention it deserves: 'Cause it's glorious. Most third-party IDW figures are to scale, including MMC and Generation Toy releases: With tinted windows, painted roof lights, tail lights, and windshield wipers, articulated sideview mirrors and airfoil, integrated weapon storage, and perfect compatibility with MP-10's trailer, the retail price (as low as $85) is a real bargain! Third-parties are gonna run TakaraTomy out of business one of these days!
  11. I would remind everyone that's $300 Canadian dollars, which is only $226 USD... or, in my case, ¥24,724. For any limited-edition garage kit of this size, that's a fair price... For a Moscato Hobby kit, with all the accuracy and detail our erstwhile Captain is known for, it's a bargain!
  12. As usual, the Captain is right on the ball. 18cm (7 inches) will be the perfect height. My PayPal is ready.
  13. The Emperor is most displeased with your apparent lack of progress. Let's keep those WIP pics coming, guys! Since that bastard GMK made such a gorgeous scratch-built backpack, I no longer found my mods satisfactory... so I had to cut a hole and make a whole new dome for the top: I also added a protruding outer edge to the exhaust cover (front), with the distinctive cut-out that's visible on most of the line art. As suggested earlier, I kit-bashed a bunch of internal pistons and hydraulics using leftover parts from other Hasegawa and Bandai kits... ...although most of the detail won't actually be visible inside the legs. Thanks for the inspiration, guys! It's unconscionable, is what it is. If you can make a set of decals for Skull 11, I definitely want one. I'm having vinyl masks laser-cut for the U.N.Spacy lettering (since white decals aren't gonna work particularly well on a black or gunmetal surface). I'm sure I could provide sets for others as well... on an equally limited basis, of course.
  14. Works even better with TomyTec N-gauge train accessories! This otherwise unremarkable town has a dark secret... ...an ominous new addition to the skyline has just been completed. Their quiet little city is about to be transformed...
  15. You both are. It's actually less than THREE seconds!
  16. I was just thinking exactly the same thing. I'm so disappointed that this project has derailed your 1:48 Southern Cross plans that I may actively boycott MAAS Toys (rather than simply ignoring them).
  17. When RoboCop 2 was still in the early stages of pre-production, Schwarzenegger approached Verhoeven with Total Recall, a project with a much bigger budget (and a much bigger star). I'm sure it was an easy decision for him to do Total Recall instead. Plus, despite being set 200 years in the future, Starship Troopers is as much a sequel to RoboCop as any film could possibly be.
  18. So the total absence of any visible paint applications whatsoever doesn't bother you? Looks like an unpainted model kit to me.
  19. Actually, it depends on who you ask... https://www.kent.net/robotech/mecha/invid/enforcer.shtml https://robotech.fandom.com/wiki/Invid_Enforcer http://digitsweb.com/UG/RPG/Palladium/Robotech/invid/igna/mecha/ie.html I think we'd better just stick to Japanese nomenclature. This is known as the Invid Malar: And yes, now that Sentinel has produced two fantastic 1:12 Mospeada figures -- and will be producing at least two more -- I'm sure it's the perfect time for a new Moscato resin kit (since the Southern Cross projects are indefinitely on hold).
  20. Well, he's got guardian mode down... I hope he figures out battloid!
  21. With all due respect, I don't think either of you remember what an Invid Eager looks like: Basically, nothing whatsoever like any Matchbox toy.
