I kinda dont buy their story about the customer cancellations, i mean if you order 100 units from a supplier what does customer cancellations have to do with that?? The distributor is not keeping tabs on whether your customer cancels or not. I think they just got shorthanded from their local stores and are putting the blame on cancellation of pre-orders.

This happened to me once. I ordered Saint Cloth Myth Athena during low stock and got to the "thank you for your order page". Never got a confirmation email, it never appeared on my account. I emailed them and they claimed there wasn't and order registered. If it hasnt shown up on your account by now it probably wont This is one issue i have with their archaic system. EVery time something goes up for pre-order im afraid the same thing will happen again.

Its no fun by the time i found out i wasnt getting my item it was sold out everywhere else

Just paid HLJ for mine. $138.88 before shipping I think this is the cheapest Frontier valk ive gotten. Now i need to wait 1 more week for another item and i can ship it out.

What sucks is that HLJ had gotten into the habit of putting up pre-orders around 8-9 PM eastern Im still not buying from NY ill take a gamble when its released.

Damn i stalked HLJ for 2 nights until 12:00AM and they decide to put them up at 3 in the morning. F this, ill take my chances on release. I paid damn near $300 for my 27 at NY because i panicked so im not going with NY again.

I love bandai! Macross DX Valks, figuarts, soul of chogokin, super robot chogokin, saint cloth myth ex, metal build, metal composite. Its not just macross that disappears in 5 seconds. Out of all those lines about 3 or four disappear instantly when put up for preorder. Its just the demand for this stuff, no reason to hate them.

I use low tack masking tape from tamiya and it hasnt caused a problem on any of my valks.

Yup thats how I try to keep them. I hate scratches because once I see the defect, my eyes are automatically drawn to said defect and it bugs the hell out of me The gloves are for the fingerprints, cant remember who told me this when i was young but they said oil from your skin damages finishes and ive been paranoid since. Dont know if it was true or not but now its just hardwired into my brain

I taped up the area and it was fine. When I transformed back to fighter mode i could clearly tell the tape had done its job. There was an indentation that could be seen on the tape on the sides of the cockpit. I pretty much tape all the black paint that is covered when going to battroid mode. Its not an elegant solution but it works and it cant really be seen in battroid. Some call me paranoid for this but id rather do that than have scratched paint. I would also like to know the solution for the misaligned tail fin please.

My 2nd one shipped Saturday EMS from HLJ and i got it today! Now the wait begins for 5PM to make sure this copy is ok.

Ive bought 2 on separate ocassions from HLJ. My original one with 7 other items in my PW shipped on Saturday less than 24 hours after payment. I bought another one yesterday and it shipped today.

Ok transformed to battroid and yea this feels more fragile than the Yamato 19s. The buttons for the hip swing bar is a paint to get to. I had to use an exacto knife.
