I'm not sure if this was asked before but... I'm not sure if it was mentioned in Macross but in Robotech, the battroid's height was designed to be in that specific height to match the Zentraedi attackers. It's logical that if you're small (humans), and you have a big enemy(Zentraedi), at least you'll want to be the same height (or bigger than) as your enemy so thus the Battroids was made to the height of the Zentraedi. Ok, rewind to Macross 0. The VF-0 Battroids of the UN Spacey were bigger in height than the VF-1 style Battroids. Why? Similar reasoning. Probably to match the height of the SV-51 Battroids. Now...since the VF-0 battroids were larger than the VF-1 Battroids, why didn't UN Spacey keep the height of the VF-0 Battroids in designing the VF-1s? Going to Macross Plus, the Valks got bigger again, roughly the same size as the original VF-0 Battroids. Why switch heights if you already had a big advantage over the enemy with the original VF-0 Battroid height? They could have made mince meat of the Zentraedi in the Macross series. If the reasoning is that Macross 0 was made just recently...then why didn't Kawamori made the VF-0 the same size as the VF-1?

I wonder what other Transforming mech from the '80's are there? Maybe it's not a machine at all like what were used to as in Jets to robots & vice versa. Escaflowne is a transforming mech and Yamato made it. It is Escaflowne yes? A dragon to robot? Anyway, I'm thinking of the Garland in Megazone 23.

I hope that the SV-51 weill cotain the Boosters in the initial package. It'll be silly if Yamato sells the Boosters in a separate package...though I'll not be surprised if thety do sell it separately I can see it now. Initial run : SV-51 Ivanov a few months later, Yamato will release SV-51 Nora a few months later again, the SV-51 CF and then the SV-51 Ivanov w/Booster and then SV-51 Nora w/ Booster After everybody buys a SV-51 with Booster, yamatop will then decide to sell a Booster package only Yamato will then say "Suckers!"

Yeah Graham, the Pics of the stand alone Camo Drone Ghost only shows the drone itself...no add-ons or whatsoever. So this means that the Camo Drone Ghost will be drone only? No Missiles or fuel tanks whatsoever? Is this the reason why it's a little bit cheap? Can you please clarify this? We would really appreciate it

Yamato would probably be bidding on this SV-51 to study it. It'll cost less to just look/study at this guys Transforming Hasegawa SV-51 than fiting the guy itself hehehe!

This is a little bit off-topic but theoretically when will the color variants of the 19 be released by Yamato? How many months before a color variant shows up? Anyway, looking at the contents of the YF-19 package...it kind of looks...empty...as if something's missing.

I'm betting that the two ghosts are the same and like what a previous MW posted that you can just add the tail wings, canards to depict which one you want. Why? The answer is staring at our faces. Yamato would'nt be making two mold of the Ghost and we all know that Yamato milks the molds until it's bone dry The Ghost in the pic has landing gear bays. Yamato wouldn't want to mold a new undercarriage with no landing gear holes or bays for the Booster Ghost because it will be too expwensie for them

Pssst...so Graham...how much would the Fold Booster, FPs, Yang + seat would cost? Will they cost as much as the 1/48 Strike/Fast Packs? Surely not the cost of the 1/48 GBP Armour Btw, theoretically when would Yamato release different colored versions of the YF-19 (Excalibur and Fire Valk and hopefully a gray one ) based on past releases of the 1/48 VF-1's and the VF-0s? How long did it take to release the VF-0A since the VF-0S was released? Is it safe to assume that it will take a shorter period because no new head sculp is to be used? Only a different colored YF-19 will be needed for the recolors right?

I'll be really glad that you can make ewithwer the Ghost drone or the Ghost Booster but what's bugging me is the color difference between the 2? I'm still hoping that you can make either one of them from a single Ghost.

NOOOOO! So if you're theory is corect, if I buy a Drone Ghost that's to be released separately, it won't attach to the VF-0? I just hope that Yamato sells the Ghost separately but can be made into either the QF-2200D or QF-2200A...though this looks highly unlikely because from looking at the Ghost pics, they have different color schemes and...big bad Yamato wants to make more money...waaah!
