    Thought this should probably have it's own thread. It was originally reported in the Megazone 23 thread, but it seemed like it would be harder to track updates and to keep the topic specifically about the incoming Arcadia toy.

    Sometimes yes, but I don't know if they paid him to "Over look or Consult" the final results like Yamato did in the past or Bandai did with the VF-19A. I think Arcadia is trying to distinguish themselves from the Yamato variants, but I could be wrong. I still feel the VF-0D is represented in factory fresh paint vs sea salt worn colors that we see in the anime. When looking through the pages of the Hidetaka Tenjin Valkyries books, the parts that are not weathered or faded from the sea salt appear dark blue.

    I thought the expectation was December of this year barring no delays. Correct me if I am wrong though.

    Oh!? Expanding out to other franchises I see. Just hope it's a lot better than the Yamato version of the past, although there should be no reason it won't be.

    I wanted this since back when I got my original Yamato VF-0S , had a feeling it was coming but am so glad it is confirmed!!

    Jason, I have given it some thought and I will stick to the default colors. It will remind me of the Anime more and fit in with my Mac+ collection in a cannon way.

    Wow, I never even seen this before. I am guessing it was a WF exclusive?

    I doesn't really bother me that you can see a bit of it in fighter mode. I think it is mostly a battroid mode perk, but it's worth it to me I guess. That tiny bit of extra detail makes the head look better to me.

    Gundam@EFSF, what did you not like about the YF-30? I have yet to even play with mine. I have it sitting on the table in fighter mode still.

    I am still waiting for my MB Gold frame, but from the pics I have seen online it looks really nice. When it was first announced I was on the fence but it grew on me pretty fast.

    Mine arrived this morning, it made it through the shipping process super fast. It shipped on the 22nd and arrived this morning!

    I am the same way, I leave the book and the stickers in the box.

    I also agree that decal = Water slide and I guess dry transfer decals. That's why I used the word "stickers" in my previous posts. As far as I know all of the diy Yamato VF-1 kits included both stickers and decals, and I think I remember some standalone decal sheets you could get for them. Too bad white ink is a thing of the past for printing your own decals, back in the 1/48 days you could just buy a set of custom decals.

    @ CDJ with the YF-30 I was able to get a second one there, but I was on a separate order after they had already shipped the first one. I think recently they have a message that pops up if you try get another of an item that you already bought with a limit of 1.

    WM Cheng, those are stickers that are applied in the pics. If you look close enough you can see that they are not even trimmed up either. The stickers are included on a sticker sheet for all of the Yamato/Arcadia valks that I can think of. They are usually packed on the underside of the cardboard slide out that has the manual and stickers in a bag.

    Mr. K seems to always apply his stickers in his shots from his desk. I do agree that they could use more tampo.

    I think I have only taken out the head lasers on my original Alto 29. It was pretty straight forward, I just pulled away from the head holding the laser firmly. I am not sure if the ones on this release come out or not though.

    OK so I just spent more time looking at the line art.. I am about 96% sure I will most likely cancel this one before it's released if there are no tweaks to make this toy look any better. When I imagine it in my valk collection it looks like it will be out of place. All of the stuff I have represent themselves pretty damn faithfully to their anime counterparts, but I look at this and wonder what happened. I know they are a smaller company but they have toys on the market, could they not afford one of the hot designers like T-rex to help out on the design? Or could it be that the anime magic is just that strong with this one? I have never tried it. The rumor is possible blacklisting, they are not a friendly bunch that's for sure. I wonder if anyone has had success in cancelling and keeping their account?

    The only things the Toynami has going for it is that you can get the Armor parts in 3 colors and the landing gear is white lol. I'm wondering if the toynami one is mistransformed. the slope on the back pack looks so wrong if it isn't.

    Well Archie, you could try it that way but not man handle it maybe. I don't know about using the glove though for that maneuver, I hate pressing plastic in to plastic because it could cause some wear and tear where the parts meet while doing it.
