    If I would have been lucky enough to get one via HLJ, I would have kept it also. I missed most of these on HLJ, the only one I could secure there was the VF-27 Renewal.

    I don't think I will get mine until next week. I did get the preparation e-mail at 06/13/13 7:52 PM PST, but they never got it shipped out.

    Mine is holding up good as far as I can tell. Mine has never been transformed though. I threw it right in the display case when I got it a few years ago. Got it pretty cheap from the good ole HLJ sale.

    Actually on one of the pre orders I did this morning for super parts(most likey Luca's) the Fed-Ex price was lower than EMS. On the other set EMS was cheaper(Micheal).

    Just checked my E-mail and mine is also processing I also put in my pre order this morning for the RVF-25 Super parts+ghosts.

    Cool, my dad was army so I always got to watch A-10 Warthogs, C-130 Hercules,and C-141 Star lifters. Loved the A-10's the most though during the live fire excersizes they would do near my house when we lived on base. The main gun sounded freaking phenomenal. But I do like the VA-3 in fighter/bomber mode because it reminds me of both the A-6 intruder / EA-6B Prowler. Not big on the batroid mode though. I bet none of us thought Arcadia's first valk would be a Nas-cross valk lol.

    As far as I know that should not mean anything. I had a humongous box with $1700.00+ of valks show up and never paid a dime in import taxes.

    OK so now they really have to re-release Ozma. My buddy picked up another set of VF-25S renewal armor parts for me for ¥10,000. Looks like I will want about 3 more maybe and I refuse to pay the over 300+ that they always pop up at.

    I feel like the thread title is a bit unfair. I mean it's a known fact that white plastic can and sometimes will yellow.

    I have had the complete opposite. I had a package arrive early, but then they held it until the delivery day lol. I have not had any issues besides that though. I have also had packages from HLJ delivered on a Saturday.

    That's what I do if everything is coming from the same carrier, but I often get more than just toys from Japan. I end up using Fed-ex, UPS and DHL so if you have some sort of multi tracker that would be awesome lol.

    I also track packages like a heroine addict waiting on the next fix. I keep multiple tabs open for each package I am tracking until it is delivered, really ocd when it comes to waiting on packages. I'm surprised my wife puts up with my delivery obsession lol.

    I did SAL once on something I thought I could wait on, boy was I wrong. I get some sort of shipping anxiety I guess.

    Yeah I am still loving my exia, I did find a defect though. My PVC V fin to replace the hard plastic one is warped on one of the points, kind of like the DX chogokins with the soft plastic head lasers. No biggie though as I don't plan to use it. When I get my R1/R2, I really wanted it for the R1 mode so that how it will stay. There is no way I get 2 of these, my main focus is Macross and I got a ton of pre-orders hitting me in the coming months.

    He may have the same problem Graham had if I remember correctly. I saw pics in this thread many pages back. On my tablet so I'm not really feeling like digging it up lol.

    I think all of the renewals do have some scratches that can be seen in the right light. If had the skills of MacrossJunkie I would do what he does with clear coat them. Bandai uses the smooth finish, and I think they end up scratching up the parts possibly while removing the mold release. On all of my Yamato toys with a smooth finish, I had lots of mold release but no scratches on the finish.

    Can you link us? I have yet to hear of cracked shoulders on the VF-171. Are you referring to the black triangle part that others here have complained about?

    Strange, I have never heard of this in the USA. Even other WTO member countries have complained that it's not fair that Americans don't have to pay taxes and duty charges.

    I'm not mad at all about the price drop and I ordered 3 at a markup. All that matters is that I got what I wanted. The funny thing about the scalping is that Bandai intends to try to keep these renewal series toys in Japan, but it looks like all the scalpers are in Japan. The market in Japan tends to only like the hero valks. The scalpers who probably know jack about Macross horded all the pre-orders, but then could not sell the scalped pre-orders they listed on sites like yahoo auction Japan most likely canceled all the pre-orders they themselves did not even have to put out any money on. All this did was cause most western Macross fans to do is pay jacked up prices just to make sure we got one and caused the retailers to get shafted on an artificial bubble created by the scalpers.I have no problem with retailers asking for non refundable deposits to stop this madness.

    At that price, I would hope they reissue lol. I already have one and really only planned to get one 25G.

    So you guys received the payment request, then told NY you wanted to cancel and it was OK? I also did not get a notice from HF, I figured they would not even come through. I thought someone had reported that they aren't getting enough or any at all.

    When you say pre-orders, did they cancel all your other ones too? The e-mail they send states that if you don't pay the invoice they will cancel all your other pre-orders and delete your account.
