  1. yeah...you'd think there would be more posted on Japanese websites....kind of like when you do a search for old pics of Star Wars store displays
  2. Just going to add this here...... Vintage Toy Industry magazines Toy Journal - December 1982 Toy Journal - December 1983
  3. Anyone try it on a VF-1D?
  4. yeah...saw those...once you do a deep dive comparison, the differences are pretty noticeable....still, they look good together......there's not much posing that either can do....so a nice Hangar diorama filled with both 1/48 DX and Yamato GBP's would be a sight to see
  5. Already looks better than the actual Haunted Mansion movie! I fully expect Disney to cash in on Muppets-Haunted Mansion collectibles soon....lol I had to watch that a couple times...so much to take in....this isn't simply the Muppets in the Haunted Mansion....this is the Muppets in the Muppet's Haunted Mansion! So many easter eggs in that trailer....they actually even gave the wallpaper a Muppet makeover....heck....I think I even saw a reference to Mr. Toad....wow....this should be epic! Can't wait!
  6. OK...that is cool....you need to set it up and display it with the Yamato 1/60! OK...one more M7 collectible..... M7 CD Wallet!!! by Seika Note Co., Ltd.
  7. Nice...in that angle they look fairly identical.......it's like you went into the future and brought back a Bandai DX DYRL-type GBP-1S armor set! That dark blue color would be ideal for it and would easily set it apart from the TV version....congrats!
  8. Macross 7 Clear File from Seika Note Co., Ltd.
  9. I chose "personal stock"....I just assumed that was their version of HLJ's private warehouse.....guess I better ask them how long they can hold it
  10. What does the "status" change to on Okiniland when a PO item is on-hand/ready to ship? Currently mine says "Pre-Order Confirmed"....this was my first order from them...a "just in case" GBP Armor Set
  11. Actually, I enjoyed the 15 minute or so lengths per episode...I felt there were just a few episodes that could have benefitted with being a bit longer...but the better ones got to the point quickly and effectively
  12. There's still a Fool's Hope
  13. yeah....the episodes seemed to flat-out copy many of the themes from the existing Star Wars films, which Star Wars itself has done with all of its Japanese film influences....guess it has now come full circle It was still fun...and if you already have D+....may as well watch it
  14. Finished watching the rest of the episodes...the best ones featured sith or sith-like characters....really liked The Elder and Akakiri...Lop & Ocho was not bad, but sort of was left hanging at the end...wonder if some of these episodes may continue their stories on a season 2... The series was worth the watch...I was glad they released them all at once...as most were pretty short
  15. Watched the first 3 episodes of Visions....so far I liked the first episode....it had a cool b/w manga look to it....other 2 did norhing for me...will keep watching and see how it goes
  16. Obligatory Mikimoto Art Book release update......Coming Soon! February 10, 2022 Originally PO'd it on July 12th, 2018....what's 5 more months?
  17. Curious to see what this GBP Combo sells for....currently at MSRP https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/r1007242700 The stand-alone armor sets are averaging about 13,500 JPY on YJA... This used original release VF-1J just sold for 31,222 JPY (under 300 USD)... https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/x1006646637 The original release VF-1J may turn out to be the biggest (market value) loser now that the GBP combo set has been released....time will tell....it had a nice run though
  18. Nice find....is it a skylark collectible though? I always thought it was a DYRL film promotional item....part of a press kit.... I have it posted here.... https://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/topic/46698-macross-dyrl-1984-film-promotional-materials/
  19. If you can find a first release VF-1J and a set of GBP armor parts then have it shipped to you for less than 43,113 JPY...then no
  20. NP...PM'd Rinkya is good, but very expensive....I only use them for very expensive or fragile items I need shipped from Japan
  21. Your best bet is to buy directly from Japan.....try Yahoo Japan Auctions (YJA) and Mandarake.....you will need to use Buyee or some other proxy for YJA bidding/buying....for Mandarake, you can buy directly on the website.... Here are the links to Buyee and Mandarake....just do a search for "Macross posters".... https://buyee.jp/ https://order.mandarake.co.jp/order/?lang=en As for eBay...some are legit...others are not...if it is a magazine poster without folds...it probably is a fake..... I also may have extras, but it would be easier for you to let me know in PM what specifically you are looking for.... As for pricing/value...it all depends on the poster, condition, etc...most are easily found, such as the magazine posters...there are just a handful that are very hard to find and thus would command a higher price.....
  22. So...."CVS101" markings means possible DYRL GBP version? If so, I hope it is another combo with a movie correct VF-1J... I now have higher hopes that Bandai will go with the combo pack for a TV Super VF-1S Hikaru-Type.....or at least they should definitely do the combo pack for the Max and Millia Super VF-1J's... Looking forward to the next PO announcement!
