Good news about Macross Zero on Blu-ray...bad news.. most likely no subs. Bandai Visual and BW asleep at the wheel again. Finally we get a region free format(for NA and Japan at least) and they still can't get it right. Other recently released or announced BV Blu-rays don't have subs either. And some of them have been released outside of Japan previously. its up at AMJ..no preorder price yet here

Ya the rewards for beating the challenges aren't worth the frustration IMO. Even in the PS2 games. Now that I'm done with this game I'm not sure I'll go back and beat it again... Also what's next for the PSP? Other than the new Final Fantasy(which I have no interest) what's coming out?

IIRC if and when the battery dies, you are supposed to send the controller to Sony for a new battery. What kind of battery is it? I think I could change it myself. Ya 54.99 is steep for the DS3. Sony should just sell it for the same price as the current controllers, 49.99. Or offer a 5.00-10.00 off coupon to all PS3 owners. I imported one a few months ago but I had the extra cash from selling junk on ebay. I'll probably end up getting another Logitech controller though.
