Ya I don't see why either of these movies need to be remade.. Especially Red Dawn..that was my first PG-13 movie in the theater...I was 11 at time I guess where there is nostalgia there are dollar signs..

Pretty sure a PAL PS3 won't support a NTSC/Region A game...my US PS3 won't play a region free PAL DVD...even when hooked up via HDMI(my other reg DVD player does). Other than the Karas or Gatchaman characters.. the rest of the possible cast from Tatsunoko is underwhelming... just give us Capcom vs Sammy vs SNK already.: Morrigan vs Dizzy vs Mai Shiranui my dream match lol or Ken vs Sol vs Terry Bogard

So far I've been enjoying my PS3. I upgraded from the stock 60GB to 160GB. Taking out and installing a new HD takes 10 minutes. Game line up has been improving all year long. I'd like to see more 3D fighters but that is niche market now. Waiting for the in-game XMB menu..need to listen to my music when I play certain games. Although an update for Burnout Paradise is coming soon to allow custom soundtracks. Which should have been there from the start. Probably the best DVD upconversion I've seen. The ability to dump Divx or other mpg movies on the HD is a big plus. Only if it supported mkv files..save me alot of time lol I thought you couldn't use a foreign credit card with a PSN store. I signed up for the Hong Kong store to download some demos. I went to the PSOne section... I used my US street address but located in Causeway Bay,HK..it worked.. so I downloaded Samurai Spirits 1 & 2, Guilty Gear and Resident Evil 2 to use on the PSP/PS3. Why can't the US store have this stuff?

Ya I sell screws/fasteners and the costs are up and keep on going up..between steel, the low dollar, the cost of fuel, cost of oil..everything is a mess right now. Depending on the part, costs are up 30-70% from a year ago. As far as toys go..they were overpriced before this all happened. 1/6 dolls or other toys(ahem...Macross) made out cheap plastic that cost over 100.00? More than 200.00 in some cases.. yeah right..

I usually check out Best Buy or Fry's in the Chicago area. Examples: Paprika on Blu-ray awhile back was 26.99 around here. Now its 34.99. Black Hawk Down is 24.99 now, it was 19.99 or lower for awhile. 300 another..23.99 now 29.99. I love the format..the prices not so much..Who's gonna pay (or watch lol) Delta Farce for 29.99? I shouldn't bitch about prices too much..I'm one of the five people who bought Yukikaze (US version) on Blu-ray..lol

Gotta agree that prices for Blu-ray movies and players have gone up since the "war" ended. I usually wait for a BOGO at Amazon or 10.00 off week at Best Buy. But there aren't as many sales as there was during the format war. Which I kinda expected.

Just as I was gonna buy the Onkyo TX-SR605... TX-SR606 I think those are the only differences between the two. MSRP is 599.00 but I've seen it for 449.00-499.00. Should be out soon.
