I guess a lot of people are having issues with Over-Drive right now. Luckily that hasn't been my case yet.

I've ordered:

Max VF-1J

Milia VF-1J

VE-1 and a

VF-11C

on Sunday night. It's passed customs and I'm waiting for them to finally make it to my house in Albuquerque (hopefully today or tomorrow.) Amiami has better prices and fast shipping but their selection is more limited and their stock disappears real fast.

I didn't know those special smoke effects were going to be included for the Super/strike parts as well.

I had that underwing nub snap off on my very first 1/60 VF-1J Hikaru purchase. I used some Scorpion Industries RP 1500 Adhesive and that sucker has stayed on for good since then. I even tried attached the same missile pod and yanked it off again, that glue holds tight.

With very limited paint skill... and use whatever decals I have on hand... That's the best I can do. I am happy with my first "design"!

That's cool, what does it look like in the other modes? I like the swirl around the gun barrel, it would look cool in fighter mounted below.

My GBP finally showed up today. There is no yellowing as far as I can tell and the whiteness of the head seems to match the rest of the valk. The shoulders are intact. They have the gnarled pins but after transformation and armor application the shoulder's are still in good working order. It has the old crotch system. This was always intended to be in-armor only so hopefully now that it's up on my shelf there shouldn't be any problems with it. Pretty beefy thing as well.

Hmmm.. why would they sell for less?

Anyways it's a buyer's choice, knowing the problems and plunging to get one.

That's not totally fair, until recently these problems were fixed. Now they're stuffing old broken poo in "new" packages and pretending that's okay after seemingly fixing a lot of stuff. Hell, the uncolored VF-1's don't even have the fixed crotch system either, what kind of BS is Yamato pulling? It's a total crap shoot now. Not a way to build confidence.

What the hell happened to Yamato? By September it seemed like all of the problems were gone. Then by November they decided to go back to the way it was. Now I'm dreading getting my GBP.

Thanks, that's going to be very bad for me. Looks like I'm moving to a new City very soon.

Does anybody know what the turn around time from Over-Drive is if you've pre-ordered something there? I've had one of these waiting since September and am getting anxious to know when I'll be receiving mine (considering I paid for it four months ago.)

I want replacement cockpits for my older VF-1's with the new crotch system so they're not so floppy in battroid mode.

Oh God, I need a job now!

I've never been a huge fan of the 22 in general but that fighter mode in Max's blue color is sexy.

Some stickers done, panel lines and the "no step"s will have to wait for tomorrow.... All in all, it's not that bad of a transformation...going to things from fighter...easy....going back to fighter...little more of a challenge!!! I would say it's worth the $$$.

Thanks for posting some pics, and from all angles. It really gives you an idea what the thing looks like in fighter mode. I've been considering it but I wasn't sure at that price. Could I be a tad rude and request some pics in Gerwalk as well? That mode is never represented in as many pictures.

Damn, I wish I still had a job. I'd jump all over one of these things. The Monster is one of my absolute favorites too. I'm very impressed with your talent!

You know, it's just a bit too boxy in fighter mode for my tastes but it looks good enough in both Gerwalk and Battroid that it might be fun to have one to play around with.

Other than three semi-grainy pics of the Double Nuts in battroid I've not seen any other pictures/love for that Valk at all.

I was never really interested in this particular valk design until seeing these pics. As a toy it is pretty cool looking.

Forgive my newbie ignorance but is this not the Harmony Gold and Robotech section of the forum? Despite the love people here may have for Macross this is the place to discuss Robotech and as such I believe the term is Veritech and not Valkyrie.

I feel Gerwalk in general does not get enough love and this particular Valk looks totally awesome in that configuration in particular.
