  1. Lol yeah Nina's shadow scene is freakeh, I forgot about that already, lol. Oh noes, not gonna bother with Turn A? But it's such a nice show to watch. Bewbies in Sunrise isn't that prominent I guess. Off the top of my head I can think of City Hunter, Votoms, one of the Cyber Formula OVAs which had a nekkid shower scene, the infamous Brain Powerd's opening, and more recently the Mai series I think? Yeah, come to think of it they're rather subtle with their eroticism for the majority of their works.
  2. I dunno what Gundam you were watching, but they had quite some bewbs. See Zeta, Victory and Turn A for some. Though I dunno what you mean by Geass making it look like pr0n. She just woke up from bed nude, that's not so strange.
  3. Well, I think a couple of pages back and on Gunota, too, it was mentioned that it's an original Orchis design. And it's looking pretty retarded right now as it is, lol.
  4. Well, they should, otherwise it's just plain terrible. I'm just glad they released Hucke mk-2 on 1/144. The 1/100's face was pretty botched even though it had pretty good construction throughout the body.
  5. Nice fit? Hmm, dunno, I heard from someone currently building it that the parts fit on certain areas is pretty bad. Building the Wildwurger myself now, and gotta agree parts fit isn't all that great, some parts even formed stress marks once snapped together. Admittedly, it's one of the earliest kits anyway. Painting is quite essential for most of the kits though, particularly that new R-1 that came out. I'm expecting even more work on the Daizengar. Still, if you're a fan, might as well grab some of the kits. I'm definitely picking up Daizengar.
  6. Hmm, I think we actually discussed the Ingram differences before here: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...ic=21004&hl And yeah, Ideon is looking great. At first I was getting worried that they weren't going to be able to put the panels on the shoulders where the head gets covered by. But they pulled it off, and there's no big hole now. It's Bandai after all.
  7. Agh, I was hoping they'd tinker with it some more since some parts weren't up to scratch/look right, but that didn't happen. I consider this to be a Hi-Nu ver.2(Izu?). It's lost its majestic presence somewhat, but looking at it as an entirely different design altogether, it's okay.
  8. Ahhh, yeah I heard about that feature today, but I was scratching my head before and thinking why there was a spare while the instructions didn't mention how to use it. Lol.
  9. Yummy. So many damn straps everywhere on this thing.
  10. Or alternatively they could have gone for a different design, similar to the 1/100 VF-19 kits from Bandai. In those ones, the hips are actually 2 separate pieces. So if that were the case, you'd have something similar to the VF-1 in Fighter mode's locking mechanism. Although there'd be no swing bar, but the locking would be less floppy I think. Not quite possible to pull it off properly though. Back on track though, yeah, I believe those pegs are meant to be the 'locks' for the torso, but they hardly do their job right. For one thing, they're already being rubbed out of shape on mine thanks to my use of them as locks. Hmmm, now that I think about it, the hip joints might've been able to have yet another different design. For example, you could pop them outward, and inward, in a similar fashion as they already are, except you'd have two cavities within the joint itself to achieve a locking mechanism of some sort. Although over the long run, all that popping in and out would ruin the piece. Lol, what a mess. If you stop and ponder about it, the design of the current 1/60 YF-19 is actually quite lackluster and mayhap albeit half-arsed? For starters, the neck's twin tab locks. Two tiny tabs as locks. Is that even practical?
  11. You can't, unless you buy the Batman Begins or this Protect Gear doll and strip them out, which is probably a bad idea, lol. For one thing, the Batman Begins in GC is kinda glued on the body. Dunno about the Protect Gear, I'll find out very soon as I go pick it up from the post office. Both run at roughly the same price (one cheaper than the other slightly, I forget which). The Genx Core body isn't available separately at the moment.
  12. Alternatively the simple solution I did: fold paper, slip it on one side of the gunpod grip, and voila, tight and straight gunpod.
  13. Here's a pic of the chip and stressed neck I mentioned. [attachmentid=39622] While I'm at it, might as well post another shot of the thing. [attachmentid=39623]
  14. Lol if Lelouch turns to Kira from SEED I'm gonna shoot myself. XD But yeah, Shirley is surely to get Geass'ed, haha. Unless something else happens. Damn you still-picture preview!
  15. Hmm, the fuselage lock tab did scrape off a tiny bit of black paint on that section, not too sure if that's avoidable given the nature of its design. Bleh. =/
  16. Argh, cliff hanger in ep 13. Suzaku is really getting on my nerves, he's just so freakin annoying. Shame he didn't stay nuts.
  17. Hmmm, if I'm thinking this right (and Yamato's page has some pics on it), just push unlock the nose, then push down on the front canopy so it lies flat witht he surface. You'll see a little gray peg on the bottom, notice that the nose has a little hole for this peg to go in. Now just slot the nose back into place with the neck and have the peg inserted, it should lock up somewhat. [attachmentid=39532] [attachmentid=39533] Also; I found that the neck(fuselage?) twin tabs had one of them slightly longer than the other, which hindered the unlocking process quite a bit. So sanding it down *slightly* to even them out actually helped. Oh, and I sanded it to the rear on a slant slightly too. Now it locks and slides out fine, rather than having to force the hell out of it.
  18. Ooo the end of ep 12 is gooood. Half-saw that coming though . Too bad for Shirley. And Nina's pretty freaky. Lord knows wth she was doing in the dark. Can't wait for the subs for ep 13, getting the raw instead now. Heheh.
  19. Yep, it is. It's not available on its own as far as I know, sadly. It's certainly an impressive body, particularly the ankle ball joints which I haven't really seen in other doll bodies. Interesting to see it naked though; it's pretty damn skinny. I was under the impression that it's more masculine when I handled the Batman Begins in GC. Hmmm.
  20. Hmm, best not to stop there, up till episode 11 now, and it's pretty nifty stuff. I'm pretty surprised why you can be so irked at the silly stuff. True they're useless most of the time, but overlooking them, everything else is pretty darn enjoyable. Especially when the school life scenes are so short-lived; for example something in school's just going to happen, and they switch back to the main plot, sometimes albeit too abruptly. Nevertheless, just forget about that cat episode (although I found Lelouch's expression pretty damn hilarious) and watch the rest. Loads of nifty action and whatnot.
  21. WHAT? It's OUT?! Dammit. Totally missed this; I saw a new recent Medicom one and got confused, but remembered that this was supposed to come out. If memory serves me right, this Protect Gear also uses the Genx Core body which was in their Batman Begins action doll, huh? I think that body alone is what makes these figures look so great, the proportions are quite good, namely the broad shoulders unlike Medicom's which are quite slanty.
  22. Hmm, I think I disagree with it being *that* fragile. It's a matter of using a sharp (as all hobby knives should be) and slowly cutting small strips out. Like I said, what I did was push the so-called 'strut pivot piece' outwards which makes a little bit of a dent/hole. You just work your way out from there. After that process, if the two parts holding that strut together looks split like Hayao's pic, you can just push them back together anyway as they hold finely in place. HOWEVER, using a knife to cut it instead, didn't do anything like Hayao's pic. Quite frankly, both ways work. I performed both your methods and the latter of no dismantling. I just wasn't too happy when that peg broke in the leg causing the rear wings to not hold in place tightly after you pull them out and 'lock' them for Gerwalk/Battroid. Of course, I could just dismantle and glue that part of the leg tightly, but I think I'd rather not in case something happens and I need to pry the thing apart again.
  23. Hmm, got the thing now and quite frankly the gunpod issue is negligible. I found that you could just *somewhat* loosen the arms' lock on the gunpod and fiddle with it a little, and it'll be straight. And whoops, broke the one leg's peg when I tried to pry it apart. I found that it's not exactly necessary to actually dismantle it; you can push the rear landing gears outward a little, which will make a tiny dent/hole outward. From here you can use a hobby knife and make the necessary cuts carefully (otherwise you risk scrapping some surface paint). Personally I think this was a better idea, unscrewing the screws with the wrong sized driver would destroy the screws, not to mention that peg breaking if you do wish to pry it apart.
  24. 'AD 2031 Life "Hardy Ann" of the appearing strange appearance in front of the human race who keeps prospering. And, it proliferated suddenly, and began to attack the human race on a certain day. A fighter pilot and Shuu Aiba of "N.I.D.F." organized to investigate the "Hardy Ann", and to defend the human race are rolled in the fight with "Hardy Ann" ・・・ and, N.I.D.F . What is the mystery of "Dead' books" that remains in the legend that science chief's Yuno Rikuna reaches at last in the middle of the investigation? And, the relation to "Hardy Ann"? A sublime war that bets the human race continuing starts now.' Excite's translation (which over the years I've found to be actually pretty good) seems to make much more sense. So, it's the Hardian? Hardy Ann? Hardy Un? Lol. I'd go with Hardian, reads less wacky.
  25. Hmm, if it's Turn A ver.ka. then it's gonna be pretty weird, haha. For those who haven't seen it: http://www.mahq.net/mecha/gundam/katoki/system-a-99.htm The GX is looking pretty good, although it's posed pretty badly. Might wait and see how it actually turns out.
