Happy New Years everyone! I'm bringing this back up since big brother to the fighter is almost done. This time I painted it all gunmetal and I'm trying a metallic grey for drybrushing. I will be posting some finish pixs tonight or tomorrow. Painting the master bedroom has taken a lot longer then I had expected. Damn moisture.

No, the kit is not new. The Legioss fighter and soldier are both Imai 1/72 kits. I did not really modifiy the tread at all. All I did was drill two small holes at the end of the extension mount, and into the groin area of the soldier. Then I secured the two pieces together by using paper clips as pins. To get the fighter to fit right requires a little trimming of the arm sections to fit in the same area. The fit is so tight that the fighter is not even glued to the kit and the extension mount almost fits perfectly underneath.

Love the VF-0D paint scheme.

The legioss soldier tread is what I just finished. I made it in the contest Klywell and threatening the airbrush did not work.

I think their is still a hobby shop in Slidell. For a longer drive you can go to Gulfport and pick up all the paints you need at Orange Grove Hobby Shop.

Nice paint job. I use those same greys on star trek models.

What show is the Dugger on honneamise? I've never seen that design before.

When do you get it? Do you email him? His site does not show it up for order. I've been waiting for this the moment since it was mention on Starshipmodeler.
