Valkyrie, I will have to raid your place... More (possible) insights from the IMDB board: "My opinion? Rei and the Machine merges with the Jam, becoming the new machine god. We understand in the 5th episode that the Jam is not after victory, and that any fight anyone takes part in, Jam already knows the outcome of. Jam is part machine, part etheral essence. I think this is a hint because it may be what Jam is searching for all along - a new human that is capable of merging with a machine. Why? Who knows... maybe Jam was just lonely. Maybe Jam was dying and needed a replacement. Maybe Jam DID intend to invade earth, but the power Jam had was in the end taken over by Rhei and the machine - we learn that there IS no other dimension, that it's all in Jam's mind (or rather, Jam projects it into anyone crossing over). In the end, they gain Jam's power which is why we even see him after he has died. That's me, and I always look for the happy ending."

They're the same, with the exception that the X-02 looks better
-
There never was a Hase kit of the X-02. The kit in the magazine was scratchbuilt by one of Hobby Japan's modelers (in Hasegawa quality, no less). -i-

The cockpit pod is a solid piece of clear resin and still needs to be polished & painted.

The lineart of the Neue Ziel shows a lot more surface detail than the 1/400 kit. Maybe this combo is planned for the Gundam Collection line (prepainted "toys") -i- -

I was just going to say that. And the girls look stoned... -
My kit (not ordered from Hobbyfan) had a canopy casted in clear resin, which was pretty useless. I made a new vac-form one; I could send you the mold if you need it. -i-

To me the "real" final happened on Saturday: Portugal vs. Germany. Great fight - and 4 regular goals. -i-

Very interesting cross-link. So the planet Fairy created the Jam because the humans had an image of a mysterious, anonymous enemy within them? -i-

Does anybody remember Silent Running? A good newer film I've seen recently is "Immotel (ad vitam)" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0314063/ made by french comic artist Enki Bilal. I wholeheartly agree with the critics that the CG characters sucked big time, but there's so much more in this movie, a beautiful mood of urban decay, bizarre imagery, a totally unique artistic vision. And the movie doesn't insult the intelligence and the imagination of the audience by explainnig everything A - Z. -i- -
