  1. That's how they are supposed to be. 100% guaranteed. You won't find a picture of the FAST Packs with a light on the right. H Yep, Hurin is correct, the lights are supposed to be on the left of both packs. Graham
  2. Despite (or perhaps because of) living in HK, I don't actually like Chinese food much. I far prefer western style fast food, so I'm going to choose 'Humburger Popo' as my favorite place in SDF-1. Graham
  3. I strongly suggest that any true Macross fan who wants to buy this CD purchase the original (it can be ordered online through several stores) and thus support Big West, rather than buying the Sonmay version which as far as I know is an unlicensed bootleg. Look at it this way. Macross has to make money for BW. If it does not make money, BW will not consider releasing future Macross animes. A large part of the income for an anime franchise comes from merchandise royalties. Thus by buying bootlegs you are taking money away from BW and lowering the chance of more Macross being made. Graham
  4. I was under the impression Graham was the site admin That description was priceless Some people will buy anything. Well, I'm sorta more like an honorary admin. I have the power, but Shawn, when he's around does most of the actual admining. As for the Mods, well they've just been given full licenses to kill and been let out of their cage. They're lean, mean wildmen that shoot first and ask questions later, so it pays to be polite. Be afraid, be very afraid. Graham
  5. OK, I know this isn't science fiction or anime related, but I thought it was really funny, so I hope the Mods will let it stay for a while. This has to be the funniest ebay auction description I have ever read and so true as well. Read here. Graham
  6. Heh, no. BW's info is not up to date. The Q-Rau was originally supposed to be out late this year, but a few minor issues caused it to be delayed until next year. Estimated release date is February 2004, but this may slip depending on whether everybody can get their act together before the factory closes for the long Chinese New Year Holiday. Graham
  7. Ah as it's Movic, then that first one will be the second series of the K&M figures(Kaiyodo & Movic). Graham
  8. But the YF-21's gunpods look like closed umbrellas! GRaham
  9. Hmmm........if it's the Agent One way, do you REALLY want to 'put your finger on it'? Graham
  10. The VF-11B's gunpod get's a close second place vote from me. Nothing says I love you like a nice sharp bayonet! Graham
  11. Perhaps the VF-0 has pop out propellers for underwater use, which are powered by pedal power. Yep, for underwater use, the foot pedals in the cockpit are used for turning the prop, just like on one of those pedal boats. "Pedal faster Edgar damn it, he's getting away!" Graham
  12. I know......... . . . . . . The butler did it! Graham
  13. Ah Mechamaniac as you are married (you didn't mention that before), it's probably your wife doing it. She might not be the one actually physically hanging the stuff on your door or making the calls, but she's probably behind it. Either that or it's an ex-lover that you spurned more than 10 years ago who has all this time nursed a burning hatred for you and has spent the last decade plotting her evil vengence (cue sinister background music). Or it could just be someone's got the wrong address! Graham
  14. Shaggydog's extra long HAHA, and still messing mine up too. Cyc OK, just edited Shaggydog's HAHAHAHA to make it shorter. Graham
  15. The VF-17's gunpod. Graham
  16. Yup, it's gotta be a girl. Hope she's cute, then you can look forward to unwrapping her come Christmas Graham
  17. Graham

    pics requests

Wouldn't the second pic be Red Roses? Graham
  18. You mean the 'Hybrid Sensors'. Graham
  19. That's pretty good news if it's true. Ridley Scott is still a good director IMO. He certainly has more hits than misses. As good a job as Cameron did on Aliens, what is it 18 years ago? He's not the same director that he was back then and with his current fetish for all things aquatic, he'd probably make the movie about freediving Aliens searching for a sunken cruise liner or some such nonsense. IMO Cameron is a bit like John Carpenter, great in his prime, but well past it now. Graham
  20. Nah, your topic should be best Valk engine intake or foot thruster internal detail. Graham
  21. OK, after much careful thought and deliberation.........NOT! My vote goes to the SV-51's nosecone as it's nice and long and has spiky bits Graham (not a member of nosecone fetish anonymous)
  22. Guys, just got the quote for the polo shirts and they are only going to cost US$6 each. I'm pretty happy about that. I should be seeing a sample next week. Graham
  23. Guys, I'm all for personal safety and everything, and would also keep a firearm for personal protection if the law here allowed it, but aren't you guys perhaps being a little too paranoid? Or is living in the US really that dangerous? Anway Mechamaniac, keep us posted as to what happens. Graham
  24. Yeah, I'll give you that, it certainly is um.........................orginal. I know what you mean, sometimes, topics are repeated so frequently that this board seems to be in a permanent state of deja-vu. e.g. 'Who plays with their toys?', 'How old is everybody?', 'What's Yamato going to make next?' type topics. Graham
